  2. Please look into ingrown hairs. That has always been a problem for me and has led to irritation and acne. I don’t really know how to prevent them or treat them.

  5. Joseph, for ingrown hairs, I don’t know exacly how to treat them, but if you google it, I remember seeing how to take care of it.

As for preventing, you just have to take a shower before shaving so your hairs will soften and apply the shaving cream and shave WITH THE GRAINNNNN. Make sure your razor is new too. As Dan says, 2 bladed razors irritate less than the others too. Hope that helps.

  8. Hey Dan, I always was interested in sulfacetamide (Klaron) type formulas and how they kill the P acnes without the P acne getting immune to them like they do to antibiotics over time.

Lasers/light treatments are also interesting to investigate.

  11. I agree with Cakes – more on sweating and acne would be great.

Also, SLEEPING! I sleep on my side and my face is always rubbing against my pillow — any advice/infos on how badly this might be affecting my acne? I’ve tried different sleeping positions but can’t get comfy!

    Have a great summer!!

  12. Hey Dan, I just saw about a million and one commercials for this new perscription acne gel called epiduo. It says the ingredients (active anyway) are BP and .1% of something called adapalene? I was wondering if you could look into what it’s all about. And tell us why the regimen is better lol. I wouldn’t actually try this since it takes a doctor visit and Im already clear thanks to your AWESOME products and regimen system. I just wondered if you could look into it.

  13. Hey Dan, could you research stuff about swimming & using the regimen after? Chlorine doesn’t seem to like to come off well in the shower, and so when I apply the regimen again after (even after an hour or two), my face can sometimes turn quite red for a while (half a day to a day).

  14. One more thing, Dan. About acne close to the mouth and eyes: if we’re not supposed to use the regimen in those areas, how can we prevent acne there? Thanks!

  15. I just saw these cool different topics – I know that you’ve covered warm water vs. cold water – how about softened water vs. hard water on acne???

Just curious – I had some personal experiences while on vacation with softened water – and my skin did NOT like it!!!

  16. hey Dan,
I was thinking about this the other night. I saw you menchen you got a massage in one of your daily videos, but if someone gets a facial, do you think the products they use may offset the regimen? Also, do you ever treat yourself to at home masks? Mud masks? Clay masks? Peel-off masks? Maybe in the future you could make a mask product for all of us.

    Thankss
