My dad always told me to carry a handkerchief and use that instead to scratch my nose…and he was right. I don’t get nose acne (or face acne for that matter) because I never touch any part of my face with my bare hands.

There are 3 filters and you change them every 1,2 and 3 years. It pays for itself. I’ve had it for about 3 years now and I breathe much better.

I was curious as to why irritation causes acne, even while one is on the regimen? Shouldn’t the oxygenated environment that benzoyl peroxide creates be enough to kill all P. Acne bacteria, regardless of whether irritation occurs or not? I guess what I’m essentially asking is why irritation causes acne (particularly while on the regimen).
