I've stopped using AHA after reports in the UK stating that pronled use permanently thins the skin increasing the chance of skin cancer. I've switched to using SA and thing it is wonderful sorry you have decided to discontinue it.

I've been reading some articles on line that a combination of SA and AHA (glycolic acid) is more effective than using one or the other separately. Have any of you guys tried doing that? Maybe could make for a good product idea..

Noooooo, PLEASE do not discontinue the SA! :-( I would be hard pressed to find another SA product. Being female - and fashion forward ;-) - I can't use white t-shirts every day under regular clothes, and during summer I will have to use the AHA less because it makes the skin sensitive to the sun. So if there is no SA I won't have anything to battle acne during the day. :-((

Question: If I use AHA everyday, will I build up a resistance to it and will it stop working as effectively after a while?

I want to second Anna's request for a gel formulation of AHA and SA -allowing people to mix and match based on their own regimen, and skin needs, seems like it would be a great idea - if you don't use BP, or as much BP, or have more oily skin naturally, the amount of moisture in your AHA and SA products may be too much, especially during the summer months. It certainly sounds like adding a few drops of jojoba oil to a gel base should work great for people who need it...

Do you think it's too much to use the AHA every night or even other night, and should limit it to two times a week?

Aww, that's too bad that you're thinking of getting rid of the SA. I love it! Man, I'm gonna have a hard time finding something else that works...

Hi Dan,

Um what's a really good moisturizer for sensitive skin, because it seem as though all the moisturizers i use they just break me out. What do you suggest?

Hey Dan,
You said that you only use the AHA+ about every third night, but I use it at my night time moisturizer every day. So I was wondering if this was bad or if it's okay to use as a daily night time moisturizer?

Thanks
