Hey Dan, would this replace the AHA+ because I only use AHA as a spot treatment or nightly moisturiser?? If I had Sal Acid when would I use the AHA? Is Sal Acid better than AHA? Sorry loads of questions there.

Wowza, ur skin does look really good Dan. It’s like it’s glowing or something. I don’t own salicylic acid, but you are definitely making me think about purchasing it in this video. Does salicylic work as a active exfoliatee since it says it makes ur skin soft.

is there a difference between putting sal acid on at night or in the morning? same with aha, does it matter?

Do anyone have problems with the salicylic acid? Mine kinda separates into SA and jojoba oil so when it comes out, theres a whole bunch of oil. So now, I have to shake it before opening it.

I’d be interested in trying it. BP keeps me clear but I’m not very happy with my skin texture.

I have ordered it and will try it when it comes, but I do have a question. (Two, actually). I”m currently using the AHA as a nightly moisturizer and I LOVE it, the only problem with my skin texture is the pore size, which AHA doesn’t seem to help. Is this intended to replace the AHA? Or can we use AHA as a spot treatment over the sal acid? Or (sorry, loooads of questions) can we just alternate them on different days as nightly moisturizers?

aalso (sorrry) any update on the SPF? Can’t wait for that stuff, summer’s on the way:):)

I use the SA+ at night with a little less BP than I use during the day. It’s not quite moisturizing enough on its own for my dry skin, so I also do use a little of your moisturizer.

I heard that your skin can become tolerant of salicylic acid so it shouldn’t be used every day. I was told that once or twice a week is the best. Or maybe that just applies to a large dose? Like when you do an aspirin mask? I know the masks make my skin look less red and it feels nice and smooth afterwards.

I tried it for the first time this morning (was nightshift so that was “night” for me. It feels a bit dry so I may have to moisturise afterwards if I keep doing it.

hey dan i have been doing this for about 2 months now i definately think its the best routine iv come up with yet.
also, as i just noticed it, in the treatments reviews part of the site there is a method called ‘urine testing’ which is actually all about splashing it all over your face, some guy claims to have had luck with this, not sure if i’d have the stomach or the guts to see if my waste was good for acne…

I just tried using the Sal Acid+ again for the first time since last year. Same result - A face that turned so red that it looked like I had been out in the blazing hot sun all day without sunscreen just seconds after applying it. That’s simply not a normal reaction, so I guess I’ll be trying the AHA+ again. It’s unfortunate, because I’ve used other Sal Acid products in the past with no such result as with this one. I’m running out of options.

I’ve been using it once a day for a while now, and my face still gets noticeably red after applying. It goes away after about 5-10 minutes though. It’s not a show stopper for me.

Generally speaking I’ve been happy with the SA+; the AHA is too thick for me and tends to sort of pill up on my face a while after using so I only use it for spot treatment. Dan mentioned recently about thinning it out, so I’m curious about getting a new tube though…

I’m definitely done using BP during the day though… Whatever it is about me and it, I lose too many clothes to bleaching :/

I’ve pretty dry skin though (especially this time of year) so I’m a little cautious about using it on top of BP at night as a moisturizer, I’ll watch this line of thought with interest though!
