However, one thing that has been holding me back is that I think the use of the salicylic acid along with benzoyl peroxide has taken years off my face and made my skin glow. As someone who suffered with bad skin for years and finally figured out how to achieve fairly clear skin after I was well into adulthood, this anti-aging effect is important to me. My understanding is that salicylic acid is also better at penetrating oily skin than AHA. That's simply not a normal reaction, so I guess I'll be trying the AHA+ again. It's unfortunate, because I've used other Sal Acid products in the past with no such result as with this one.
