However, I was thinking and I thought that fabric softener might affect people with facial acne when they use towels to dry their face which has the waxy coating on it as well. And the pillowcase they put their face on as well. Don't you think? So you might look into this as I'm nearly totally clear with your regimen but still get like two pimples a week and we dry all our clothes and towels in the drier with those sheets that leave a waxy covering so this might be the cause!
