You hit on everything I was wondering about. Thanks Dan!

I'm stoked for the new zinc oxide sunscreen. One plea: have some women test it out under makeup before you finalize it--that's where a lot of sunscreens and moisturizers fail for me. Many sunscreens will feel fine initially but after letting them dry and then applying even a light amount of makeup, they'll clump up and make a mess on my face.

Thank you thank you for not using titanium dioxide -- I always get little bumps from it. Zinc oxide is so much better, IMO.

I'm a native Californian. I grew up in Concord, just over the hill from you, but "we" retired in NW FL as it was/is more affordable. I do miss the foothills though.

So I'm trying your products and I LOVE your daily blog. You are so "hands on" with your website!!
So very cool!! I'm adjusting my skin to your products. BP is really drying my face, but probably because
I've used too much. Will cut back, and use more moisturizer but have only seen a couple of really small spots appear, no major breakouts. I've been doing the regimen been about a week. Keep up the great work!!

I'm so glad to hear the moisturizer is broad spectrum! I wasn't going to buy any if it wasn't. I just want to second kim and ask you to get some girls to test it under makeup! Your moisturizer sounds so; I'd want to be sure it wouldn't go all gross if I wore makeup overtop.

I bet Hanes is a lot cheaper, but American Apparel shirts are better fitting and it may also solve the problem of having to carry a special women's t-shirt because AA t-shirts till look nice on women because they are well cut. Just my two cents.

Oh btw if your think of ways to maybe advertise your company maybe you should get into the schools and talk to young kids that are struggle with acne. I was told to just wash your face with water everyday and it will go away. wrong advise. bp has keeped me acne free for 5 years now thanks.

Hi Dan. I had a question (and a few others did as well) about the SPF being 15 vs. 30...or both? I know I really like SPF 15. It protects my skin from the sun and doesn't make it white like SPF 30 does. Is there any chance you will sell both SPF 15 and SPF 30?

Thanks!

I'd like to third kim's suggestion about putting your spf to the makeup test...this is the most common problem i have with other spfs (and i will happily offer up my face as a guinea pig!). also, i'd like to echo dave's concern, but from the other end of things...i'm a spf 30 girl myself, so it'd be nice if we could have both options. thanks so much, dan!

Hello Dan, I had one little important question to ask you, Do you have any scars left from your previous acne? I've seen all your videos and your skin looks so good! Is it the camera or is really that flawless?

Any update on your decisions with the SA+? And what's up with the massive facial redness after application? If the redness effect went down the product would be superb.

I'm guessing an SPF 30 wouldn't wear as well, but it would still be nice to hear your thoughts about it, and if it would be at all possible to make. Also I just got some of your jojoba oil in the mail, and that stuff is fantastic! It's the best thing I've ever found to use on my lips; they don't feel like there's anything on them, they just feel soft -- great stuff!

Hi Dan, I have a question Did you really have bad acne at one time? your skin looks flawless with no traces of scarring in it. If your acne did leave your with scars, please tell us what did you do to have such beautiful skin? I'll be for ever greatful. I've had cystic acne for the past 2 years, I am using BP as recommended in this site, watch what I eat, drink heaps of water but my acne is still pretty active, I just don't want more scars and the pain I have to endure with my skin being inflammed most of the time. I've had many natural treatments with herbs and vitamins and also vitamin C in large doses Intravenous, but nothing seems to work fully, I am not acne free and think that will have acne forever.

Hi,
I know everyone keeps asking, but can you please give us a rough timetable of when you think the spf will be ready...ie is it more like weeks or months...?

Also, I like the American Apparel t-shirts...I don't suppose there is anyone out there that makes reasonably priced organic t-shirts?

Hey Dan,

I think the shirt idea is great and I thought you might like to check out these sites.

www.imagemarket.com
or
www.imagemarket.com/Garments.aspx?GarmentStyle=Shortsleeve&

www.customink.com

I've dealt with them before and they're really nice people. Both offer free design consultation/customizing and the cust. service is excellent. Image Market is a bit cheaper but CustomInk has more selection and they offer organic tees that I've seen some people asking about. Anyways though you might be interested.

Best wishes and thanks for everything!

I can't wait for the SPF. I've never actually used sunscreen for my face except when I'm at the beach or something, so I'm excited to try it out.
