Unable to see the video… says it’s private?

  2. cody92 Says:

Yeah its telling me the same thing?

  3. Dan Says:

Sorry you guys. It’s set to public now. My bad.

  4. Realme2008 Says:

Lol, you always make me smile. Yeah, I would definitely buy a shirt Dan, and wear it proudly! That’s going to be great that you are going to be on t.v., and it’s concerning acne.org. Ha Ha, Collin making fun of the chipmunks was hilarious.

  5. linh Says:

as one of your success stories, i’ve told my friends about this site and the regimen i use and i will continue to spread the word out. and speaking of oprah, a few weeks ago while watching oprah on topics regarding skin care, i actually sent an email to her show telling her about acne.org. i haven’t heard back from them but this goes to show how much i believe in your mission. keep it up!

  6. Realme2008 Says:

I wish they sold ur products on t.v. Dan instead of those horrible Proactiv commercials. I bet ur products would sell big!

  7. reemoo Says:

I’m from a country far away from you (I’m from Oman) :D

I started your regimen recently and I seriously believe it’ll work specially with all the amazing success stories!!
And I wish I could find a way to spread the word about acne.org in my community, because I find it mazing an many ways; its affordable and simple and it really works..
I dont know how I really can do that at this stage, but I would really be happy to help you out spreading the word in my community :)
I’m a medical student btw and after I saw your site I’m now interested about reading more about acne in medical research

    thx alot Dan ;)

  8. cody92 Says:

Thats so cool that you’re going to be interviewed! Oh and I would so wear one of those shirts too so I really think you should make them :)

  9. jkom Says:

I’m far too insecure to wear a shirt with the word “acne” on it in public =( My skin is essentially clear now, but I’d need completely flawless skin to do something like that. Acne has just done too much psychological damage to me.

  10. Voce Says:

This is going to embarrass you to no end, Dan…coming from an old gal, but…YOU’RE MY HERO! I wouldn’t have known to switch to milder products without discovering your website a couple of years ago. BP was the one thing I always went back to over the years, because it worked. Salicylic acid didn’t, Retin A didn’t. BP did. The Regimen is perfect for “over 40″ acne-prone skin.

The local TV interview sounds great, but you most definitely need national TV/print exposure. I look forward to seeing that happen someday!

The video blog is great. It’s cool to see what you’re working on behind the scenes. And very cool to watch this phenomenon of acne.org take off. You have many fans. Keep up the good work!

  11. Brandon Says:

It would be tough to wear your shirt with out totaly clear skin….ll the more reason to stick to the regimen!! :) Make the shirts!!

  12. Colin Says:

yeah!!!!! My life was made!!!!he mentioned me!!!! I am doing a survey about acne, Dan, and many people have heard about acne.org and Dans regimen. But if they didn’t I told them more about it.

  13. JP Says:

Acne.org needs one thing and one thing only to go international. A mascot (Dan, ur the president, u need a mascot though). Listerine has one, Charmine toilet paper has that bear, trojan condoms has trojan man, there’s Mr.Clean, Snap Crackle & Pop, Aunt Jemima, The Energizer Bunny, the Gieco Lizard, cant forget Kool-Aid Man, the list just goes on. All succesful advertising campaigns. Benzyol peroxide, Skin Cleanser, and Mosturizer are a tri-force to be reckoned with, and they’re out kickin acne ass (not ass acne) every day. Thats history in the making right there.

  14. Steve Says:

I right now can think of 3 names at the top of my head that can benefit from acne.org, but have no idea how to refer them to your site. I am a guy, and guys don’t comment on other guys skin problems, forget recommending beauty products. However, it would be nice if you set up a way or a tip page on how to spread the word about acne.org. I remember what was so cool about proactiv was that you could give proactiv the name, address, or email address of a close friend that could benefit from that proactiv, and they will anonymously send them information. it would be great if you could translate that to acne.org in some way, shape, or form. We all would love to refer people, in fact I often think about who could really benefit from acne.org, but just don’t know how or are afraid to just go up to someone and say “hey, your face is a mess. my face used to be terrible like yours, but then I went to this website and I was cured of the ugliness you are now facing. no offense.”

I really think that this is something that can be done, since word of mouth is the best, most effective forms of advertising. before the internet, how did good mechanics, good dentists, and great lawyers get more business? by word of mouth.

and, since we already now you have a fantastic and effective regimen that has the capability to stop acne, half the work is already done for you!

feel free to contact me with any questions. I ahve plenty of ideas on how to spread the word!

  15. Matt Says:

Hiya, I got my fiance’ started on the regimen, really awesome. I talk about it A LOT, lol. Anywho, what do you think about adding SA to a cleanser, hmmm? Just thought I’d bump that from a previous blog. BTW I’d totally rock an ACNE dot org shirtsy FTW. Keep it up mister dan. pop rox k thx bye

  16. Elsewhere Says:

    STONE COLIN! STONE HIM!!!!

Heh heh. I would wear a hoodie and a tshirt if it wasn’t just white (I get things so dirty so quickly!). I tell all my friends about this place and talk about you guys all the time on my Livejournal.

I have a question: What is your daily morning routine? (I have a ton of questions stocked from Panda’s Lounge Interview thread, so you’re gonna get some questions!)

  17. Sierra117 Says:

I was just telling a bunch of people earlier about Acne.org and the Regimen and the AHA+ and the Jojobo, etc. etc. Hopefully the main guy I was trying to help actually listened (this was on a message board).

  18. Sierra117 Says:

By the way, I’ve been on the Regimen since early 2004, and in the past year or so began researching all the other kinds of stuff you can do along with it, like Aspirin Masks, Apple Cider Vinegar, etc. and the Regimen has helped me a lot, and the AHA+, even though I thought it didn’t work for me at first, is now the only thing that will clear my marks in the coming months I believe.

  19. Vicki Says:

Until I read the other posts, I didn’t realize that I do in fact already tell people about the site, so I must be happy with it. I only started this summer, when I got so fed up. I take Synthroid, I am not sure if this increases acne, but certainly it changed my acne from regular spots to scarey ones that caused me to have deep scars. I was so desperate that I went whole hog into this. This has worked for me since about 2 weeks after I started.

I am really pleased, and I realized that I tell random people like my dentist and hairdresser! The only annoying thing, is that to go whole hog I had to stop using any of my anti-aging products. I’m only 32, but I have noticed that whilst spot-free I am a little more wrinkly now :-) It’s worth it to not get the scars.

  20. Vicki Says:

I just wanted to check, is the Facebook group “The Acne.org Regimen works for me!” actually affiliated with you…I was thinking that being able to add being a fan of acne.org would be a good way to spread the word

  21. erik Says:

being honest, i would not wear something with the word “acne” on it. i hate hate hate that word. it has such a bad stigma and like someone else said, i’m too insecure to wear something with that label. probably a lot has to do with some of the scarring i’ve endured.

  22. Timothy Says:

Hey, i loved the video. Talked about a lot of things. Since your going to be booked for a show i’ll be seeing you on T.V :]. Also, i would love to buy Acne.org T Shirts. Since this site has helped me a lot with my acne, i would proudly wear the shirt and would introduce many friends to this site.

  23. smith Says:

I doubt very many people will wear a shirt with “Acne” on it. I think the Facebook group is the best way to go. Too bad there is only one member right now. I’m sure if we all banded together and joined the group it would be awesome free advertising and we could help a lot of people. You’d have to come up with a creative way to get a lot of people to join in a matter of days. (my idea is at the bottom) If there are a lot of members, it won’t be so embarrassing to join or invite other people to join.

Very Important: I think the name of the group needs to be changed so that the word acne isn’t in the title. (sorry, but the stigma is embarrassing!) Maybe something like, “Daniel Kern’s Regimen Saved My Skin!!!” and then once you click on that all the info about acne and the regimen would be there with links to your products, testimonials, etc. I wish I could tell everyone about your product, but I don’t want to embarrass THEM, therefore, I think the Facebook thing is worth seriously investigating.

My idea: all you need to do is find about 100 of your customers (each with A LOT of facebook friends!) willing to sign up to “start” the group on the same day. We all send an invite to the group to all of our friends (even those without acne, because everyone knows someone with acne!) and the group hopefully gains momentum fast. What do you think? I’m willing if other people are . . .

  24. Joanne Says:

I’d definitely wear a t-shirt – when my skin clears up ;) I think it would be great, can you imagine what it would be like to have AWESOME skin and wear the t-shirt that advertises how to get your own? I think it’s a great idea.

  25. MiaTruly Says:

Hi! I had been on this site a LONG time ago, years ago… and am so impressed to see how the site has developed and grown. I am very much looking forward to starting a SIMPLE regimen, like the one you describe here (and refreshed my memory).
Acne medicines and prescriptions are TOO expensive! And I am a mom of TWO children, girl and boy 10 and 9 respectively who I think are beginning to develop acne (I’m sure from their mom). We need something simple that I can start showing them to use from young age and that as they grow older, they can get a hold of easily, say if they stay at a dorm when older.

!It is great to view you have your own products!! And they are in a simple packaging and I LOVE they you are conscious about our enviornment!!

ANYWAY, my idea on getting the word around about ACNE.ORG…
I work in NYC… and take the subway from Jersey to World Trade Center every day.
The trains are always PACKED… like Sardines, lol… and we look like cattle as hundreds of people emerge from Ground Zero site and scatter towards the dozens and dozens of offices near by. I literally must past by hundreds of people on a daily basis. Why not have an umbrella that shows ACNE.ORG on it…?? When it rains or snows, it’s advertising for people curious people to check out the site… The fact that it says “org” is incentive enough to visit the site… and acne.org is extremely easy to remember…!!

P.S. Thank you for all you do… I’m directing my pre-teens, who LOVE to read, to your site.

    Hugs
    Jazz

  26. jen Says:

have you tried having a group on facebook? that might help get the word out.

  27. Katie Says:

Hi Dan, I saw a poster above said she wrote into Oprah about the regimen. I must have been watching the same show because I also wrote to Oprah about the Regimen. I tell everyone I know who suffers from acne about the regimen and they’re all slowly coming around. Also, if you made some t-shirts that were meant for girls, I’d totally order one.

  28. Liz Says:

yeah, I would SO wear one. It wouldn’t hurt if they were stylish though, haha. I will have to get clear first, because it would be weird to wear one if you still had acne. =) Thanks Dan!

  29. Shaina Says:

I would absoulty buy and wear an acne.org t-shirt! Im still new to this site and i was actually looking to see if you already had some for sale! I think its a great idea!

  30. Eliza Says:

I would love one, and would totally wear it! Please Please Please,(yes, that was 3 pleases!) promise you will make some female shape T’s (baby doll) that are stylish and modest:) ? They are so much more flattering than men’s t-shirts.
    Love this idea~

  31. Troy Says:

i tell all my friends about it =P

  32. tanner Says:

Shirts would be awesoooome! but leave them plain like how you wear them. just white with black lettering and the blue box. it looks tight. ill wear one of those even if my skin isnt perfect, self esteem booster you know?

  33. Helenoftroy Says:

I don’t know if I would wear a t-shirt that had acne in huge letters. I don’t want ppl thinking I’m gross lol if it was stylish then I would wear it. I might feel embarrassed though. Have you ever thought about getting some volunteers in different cities to promote the products. Maybe leave postcards or flyers around in stores or at school. I know at my college if you just left some promos around ppl would definatly check it out. It might be pricy to do though and not very environmentally friendly by using paper. Maybe just a sticker would work!

  34. Amanda Says:

I would TOTALLY sport an acne.org t-shirt any day.

  35. Kate Says:

the problems originates inside, there is not topical solution… read *edited* – it makes a lot of sence :)
