I think it’s a great idea, and yeah I would definitely buy it. Like you said you can carry it around with you, and it will probably be very effective. All your products are great, so I know this one wouldn’t disappoint. I would recommend it to my friends too. Those little mouses are so cute!!! That’s probably from Hallmark I’m guessing.
Dan, I would definitely love the spot treatment. Like you said though, I would hope it would be a more powerful, higher percentage version of AHA (including maybe some other ingredients). Try to make it the most effective spot treatment available! I will try it out.
I love your video blogs! I will buy the spot treatment as soon as its available, as I have bought everything else you’ve created. Those mice made me laugh hysterically.
yeah its a good idea… i def would love a spot treatment. if we use aha as a spot treatment though… wouldnt it be hard to get out into the sun? I only use the aha during the night…
Isn’t the AHA already a really high percentage? Like 10%? I can’t imagine I would want it even higher than that…it seems to me the spot treatment would be too similar to the existing AHA+ (except in a smaller tube) and thus not very cost effective. But apparently everyone would buy it, so I guess there’s no problem!
Instead of doing this as a squeeze out tube, could you do it as a a similarly small container, with screw off lid, that the lid has an applicator (stick with foam on end) to apply. Would this be hygienic? I currently use a witch-hazel based product like this, it is a clear gel and it doesn’t dry up etc., which is why it is the only one I carry. It is convenient because you can apply it directly to an individual spot without worrying about getting it on your hands or transferring elsewhere.
I would LOVE a spot treatment. I’m new to your regimen and am not completely clear yet; however, I am impressed at how quickly the breakouts heal and how much less irritated they are! Thank you!!! Keep ‘em coming.
Agreed. I think a spot treatment would be GREAT!
I’ve been wanting to buy the AHA+. But I just don’t want to spend 16 bucks.
So I for one are highly for the idea of a spot treatment.
I think just an increase in AHA % won’t make it a “super special” spot treatment. You might consider other ingredients that actually work! I remember that Proactive mask– white, pasty, smelly–spot treatment always worked well for some reason, not sure what they use in it.
If you could make it tinted so it could be used as a cover up as well that would be awesome! Also, maybe not for a day spot treatment, but I’ve always found that products that use sulfur work really great as an overnight spot treatment.
I would buy probably 10 tubes to start off with so that I would not run out. I would love something that worked really well to spot treat with. I really like your AHA+ so a higher concentration and with the lichocalcone and some other stuff would be magnificent. I have gone through almost all of the spot treatments that are available and there are a few that I think are ok, but something of the acne.org quality would make me so happy.
WANT!!! I use the 2.5% all over my face and it prevents most pimples but when my hormones kick in each month or I’ve had a few drinks or I’ve eaten peanut butter a couple of days in a row and larger pimples appear, the 2.5 doesn’t work on them very well. I’ve tried every other spot treatment I can find and even tried a few I’ve made myself from homeopathic recipes, but nothing works. I’m 33 years old, btw.

I’d really love a spot treatment that I could carry with me – a bottle of BP just doesn’t travel well. And the Christmas chipmunks are soooo cute!

Hi Dan
I would LOVE a spot treatment- especially at a higher percentage- the AHA works so well for me that I put it on after the BP everyday
July 23rd, 2009 at 3:01 pm
Hell Ya!!! I’d Buy 3 of them
