I just watched the video and realized I am talking about eating a ton of carbs and dairy and sugar. I have an inkling that this might not be great for acne, although the research still doesn’t show it definitively. I just wanted to clarify that I don’t necessarily recommend this diet to people who are in the throws of acne. Eating low glycemic and sensibly is most likely the most prudent way to go. Having said that, hey, it’s the holidays and we’re probably all going to cheat a little, so that’s understandable.

  1. I think the SEO idea is a really good way to bring people to acne.org. I remember just being a 16-year-old kid trying to find some online information and products I should try. I stumbled across this website, and this was the first real acne site I had seen. It has message boards, treatment reviews, regimen blogs, before and after pictures, and various success stories. I figured where could I go wrong, and it was one of my best decisions I have ever made.

    Thanks,

  2. Are you on twitter or utterli or facebook as well? Like all social networks, they can get time consuming if you allow them to be- but they offer additional opportunities to cross pollinate and get your info out to more people. I am a HUGE utterli fan because you can cross post from utterli to various sites automatically- and the team there seems to always be up for helping organizations. Just another idea for helping more people find this site. :)

  3. I think acne.org on facebook is a good idea, and it would help with gaining even more exposure. I would join, but it’s just an idea.
