Hey Dan, why don’t you go ahead and release the spf moisturizer as a beta, like you’ve done with the Salycilic acid. There’s plenty of us that would like to try it out right away even if it’s not quite right yet.

I would say to just go with it and then people can either add the Jojoba oil or use moisturizer on top. I currently add the Jojoba oil to my moisturizer anyway. Currently I use a day solution (MaryKay has spf 30) which is intended for use with a moisturizer on top. It’s the only one that doesn’t make me super shiny…but then that’s what the Jojoba is for I’ve been holding out for your spf solution to come along…

My sister and I both suffer from adult acne and love your products. It has done amazing things to both our faces!!
We can’t say enough about acne.org and would love it if you sold t-shirts, etc!!

Hmmm… any possibility of you making a formulation WITHOUT any kind of moisturizers? Personally, with my current regimen, II really only need to moisturize during the winter, the rest of the year I don’t really use any, or only as spot treatments depending on the current weather.

Will the SPF be chemical (Octocrylene, PABA, etc.) or physical (titanium dioxide or zinc oxide)? I ask because chemical sunscreens are common skin irritants and allergens to some. Also, I don’t believe any chemical sunscreen offers both UVA and UVB protection, whereas physical sunscreens offer both.

I would release the spf as is, with a disclaimer, and maybe add a second, more moisturising type later on. Personally, I need something matte, and there isn’t much out there…

Dan, let me just say your Salicylic Acid is awesome! Dont ever discontinue it!! Your AHA is awesome too. While you SPF is also probably awesome as well, I just want to know if it contains brad spectrum protection – Both UVB and UVA protection?

If it was really that simple, then anyone could make it.” – Yeah, I really agree with that, because he has to make sure everything balances out. Just altering the product in one little way sometimes can upset the delicate balance. It takes a long time to make products like these too, because they have to get FDA approved. It’s a lengthy process.
