Clear Up Skin Care is a non-profit that I’ve worked with and supported for years now. Debi, the founder, visits middle schools and high schools and teaches about acne and self-esteem. She also has satellite teachers around the country who do the same. I have personally sat in on a class and Debi is a natural with the kids. It is all a very, very cool thing. Recently, Debi stopped by my home and I interviewed her and posted a video of her here. Check it out. Oh, and if you’re looking for a great non-profit to support, this would be a great one.

I recently interviewed Dr. Herbert Goodheart, the author of “Acne for Dummies”, at my home here in San Francisco. Dr. Goodheart was great on camera. A big thanks to him for sharing his thoughts on acne and future research.

And why am I laughing at the start? I forget. But unfortunately I didn’t have more footage to edit, so I had to go with that. I’ll try to be more professional next time. 🙂

Ever since a few years ago when Paul (real maverick) introduced many of us to jojoba oil, word has spread and now lots of us are using it. I always make sure to have some around. Lately I’ve been using it for lip balm at night. I found an awesome organic grower and I’ll be bottling it for us soon hopefully. In the meantime I made a page all about jojoba where you can read up.

MTV is doing a documentary, “True Life: I Have Acne”. We’ve been communicating with them and I think this is a great opportunity to reduce the stigma of acne. The more acne is talked about the better in my opinion. I wanted to reach out and see if there might be someone in our community who would be interested in participating in the documentary. They’re looking for someone between 15-25 years old. I told them I’d be willing to be on camera but I’m too old 😉

I would love it if the person who decides to do this was willing to use The Regimen during the documentary as well. It would be a great chance to get the word out on how well The Regimen works. Of course I can help out by supplying products free of charge during filming. Let me know if this would be something you or someone you know might be interested in and if it would work in your life in the next few months. I think it could be a very good thing. You can email me if you are interested.
