Since people often ask what I personally use on a daily basis, I made a fun new page to explain it. I put the stuff I use on my dining room table and took a picture of it, printed out the picture, and then traced the picture with a sharpie. Then Joel helped me with a roll-over javascript thing so that you can just roll over each product for an explanation. I had fun doing it.

I just want to say you are doing a great job Dan. Thanks for all the info. I usually just read but since you have the blog it’s nice to be able to communicate with you and others. I take Omega-3s as well and will start taking Zinc. Hey anything that is safe and will help I am all for it. I have a script from my doctor for something called Encora which has the omega 3 but not the zinc. Something for everyone to check out. It also makes me feel great so I highly recommend it. I take 2 pills in the am and 2 in the pm. The site is encora.com.

I am 44 and probaby starting perimenopause which may be the reason for my face exploding for the first time ever
. I love your cleanser. I also have rosacea so have to be VERY careful. I have been following your regime w/good results. I haven’t used YOUR BP yet but am using the Neutrogena 2.5% BP and loading it on. What is interesting is I have NEVER had the peeling and flaking on my skin despite using generous amounts. But I also use Jojoba oil which I think is invaluable. I have cleared up dramatically but I still get a few heavy duty zits on my chin area. I also use clays like Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and I have found that when I use those, I do NOT have the red marks that stay around FOREVER when one uses just BP. Just wanted to let you know about the Kaolin/bentonite masks and how invaluable they are for pore cleaning and oil reducing.
You rock Dan. Since I’ve been on the regimen I’ve really been feeling more comfortable about my skin. I love the cleanser and the BP! I keep on reordering and am waiting with baited breath for your moisturizer which I’m sure will be amazing.
One thing I’ve been doing which I find to be the show stopper is 3 tbsp of Ground Flax Seed on my cereal each morning. I buy the stuff from Trader Joe’s unground and grind it myself (although they also have a ground version) it has 100% more Omega-3′s than fish oil, ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fiber, protein, and zinc. It’s basically got everything.

During the winter, it really moisturizes my skin from the inside and seems to interfere with the consistency of sebum. I love the stuff… it does taste like toasted flax seed, but I’m willing to accept flaxy taste for clear skin. I also take a fish oil capsule in the afternoon to keep the acne on the run… best of both worlds.
