I got the latest sample in the mail today. First the good parts: It feels so good going on it’s a joke. It’s like liquid silk and it goes on clear and fast. It also takes care of flakiness as it should. It also has no scent but in a good way. Let me explain. Lots of “unscented” products still have a scent of whichever ingredients are in the product. This moisturizer is no different. It has a very slight scent, but the scent is pleasing and something I could really get used to.

One last bad part: It still feels like I’ve got something on my skin after I apply it. I could describe it as a mild tackiness/stickiness. Brandy, our Regimen Assistance person, and Joel, our webmaster, didn’t notice this, but I do. So I’m sending it back to the formulator again. I hope this tackiness issue can be resolved in short order. In the meantime, I have a second formulator working on the project. So, onward and upward!

You should sell gallon size salicylic acid in 10% concentrations for body acne and face acne. It’s exfoliating, too, and has few side effects.

The tiny tubes of salicylic acid with other weird chemicals are not as natural and too small.

Dan, I’m totally FOR you adding Jojoba oil and SPF 15 into the moisturiser. I’m going to migrate to New Zealand from Singapore in two weeks and I hope to be able to purchase the cleanser/BP gel/moisturiser set when I’m there.

    Hi Dan,

I’m new on this message board, but I’ve been using BP for a few years. Since I also suffer from flaking, I become interested in the moisturizer.

You’ve mentioned that the sunscreen ingredients you are considering are benzophenone-3 (oxybenzone), ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (octinoxate) and ethylhexyl salicylate (octisalate). I’m a little worried about the sunscreen ingredients though since they may only protect against UVB rays. I’ve read from Paula’s Choice that only four sunscreen ingredients have been widely approved in the US as effective against UVA radiation namely titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, avobenzone, and Mexoryl SX. Is it still possible to include one of the named ingredients preferably titanium dioxide or zinc oxide? For some reason, my skin usually don’t agre with avobenzone.

I can’t wait! I change moisturizers every time I finish an old bottle…never satisfied. I hope this could be the answer after it is tweaked.

Is there a way to replicate the Eucerin Skin Renewal moisturizer formula? That stuff was perfect, before it got discontinued. I wonder if you could acquire the patent for it? Or do reverse-engineering to find out the magic ingredients?

One good face moisturizer that I’ve tried is from clinique–its the dramatically different moisturizing lotion. It feels awesome after applying it–it moisturizes the skin but you cant feel anything on your skin. Maybe you should look into the ingredients in that.

I am a devout “Regimine” person and am I just found out that no drugstore carries the neutrogena healthy skin lotion without the SPF. The Health skin lotion they make with AHA and NO SPF worked great. Where is it until you finish yours? The one with SPF in it is stinky and way way ball-uppy and tacky. I have to wear foundation over my regimen. Im desperate.
