| Pros: | Clears zits. |
| Cons: | Dries up the skin to the point where all u see is flaking and peeling. |
| Bottom Line: | It works but if u don't have a good moisturizer it's very hard to use without nasty side effects. |

| Pros: | it works on 99%, skin isnt so oily |
| Cons: | redness, no sunbathing |
| Bottom Line: | i used nearlly everything - local tretinoins, azealic acid, adapalen-differin all with combination with local antibiotic-clindamycin, erytromycin but without success. Then i tryed benzoyl peroxide also with combination with antibiotic and i have nice face without any problem.I use 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is strong, usually used on chest and back. I have bit red face but its better than having acne and scars. |

| Pros: | Kept acne at bay for a while |
| Cons: | Dries out and burns skin
Expensive - Like $20 for a small tube
Only works for a while then it does nothing. |
| Bottom Line: | After using this cream at least one a day for at least 2 years, I can say the cream has done little for my skin. The cons outweigh the pros, and it's annoying putting it on all the time. I keep using it hoping my skin will get better, but there is little hope for this product. |

| Pros: | seems to have stoped any spots coming through. |
| Cons: | My skin has dryed out really bad. Fine lines have appeard all round my mouth. My lips have also swollon up, so pritty bad at mo! |
| Bottom Line: | I am using a product called pan oxyl. I must admit it has carmed my acne but on the other hand my face is now bright red and i look like a rinkled old man. I think i have been applying to much to my face. I'm gonna wait till my skin gets better and i will start again but this time i will be much more carefull with it. I feel BP has protential to do well but if you are about to use it be carefull. Only use a small amount and then slowly increase it when you feel ready. Dont dive into the tube like i did or you will end up looking like an old man that has been out in the sun to much. x x |

| Cons: | It dries out skin really badly if not used properly and makes skin flake |

| Pros: | I am using Neo-Benz. It really has helped my acne over the course of a few weeks |

| Pros: | Keeps skin under control, stops whiteheads. |
| Cons: | Very dry, gave me a rash on my chin :[ . Gave me cystic pimples on my cheeks, even though i didn't have any pimples on my cheeks before i started. |
| Bottom Line: | Definatly the only effective OTC product available. Suitable for mild acne! I had lots of whiteheads on my forehead before i started and now i have none. The only bad thing is the dry skin and it gave me a bit of cystic acne on my cheeks. My chin got so dry it was weeping and stuff so i didn't use it on there for a week and when i started using it again it wad fine! I used 5% Benzac AC wash. |

| Pros: | prevent breakouts, reduce oil, even skintone. |
| Cons: | initially: red, tight skin, extreme dryness, scaliness, etc. over time your skin will adapt and besides some dryness, will be fine. must be used liberally to prevent all breakouts |
| Bottom Line: | i've used benzoyl peroxide for years. only in the past few months have i began using it regularly. since then my skin has cleared dramatically. i occasionally have some breakouts, and my skin still gets oily; however, i am still in the process of upping my daily dosage. friends used to comment on my acne but now they refer to it as something of the past. if you have time each day to apply benzoyl peroxide, it is definitely reccomended. |

| Bottom Line: | i just cant figure it out. i used acnefree for a couple of years and my breakouts were fewer.i stopped for a year, and my skin was OK. im now healthier than i ever have been, and a few months ago my acne exploded and is now more cystic, which it never was before.before it was the lame white bumps all over.im 23 and have started using proactiv(someone gave it to me) doesnt seem to do much at all.10% BP spot treatment makes it redder, not better. |

I use a vitamin enriched aftershave before i use the BP... seems to work well. |
