i started using brevoxyl 4% 2 weeks ago after proactiv caused me more breakouts.its showin improvement in battling the acne but not towards my skin condition.my skin is terribly flaky and my face is quite red after applying the cream.am now trying to find a good moisturiser or gentle scrub to get rid of it.any suggestion?

I've been using a product called Quinoderm on and off for a few weeks. (BP 10%) It seems to be clearing my face, my skin feels healthy and smooth, and i have less outbreaks. But there's still acne. marks and redness are still on my face. I'm still going to use this, along with Sudocrem, and a moisturiser, along with a healthy diet, to hopefully rid myself of the acne.

I have always had fabulous skin, but now at 46, after HRT, developed ugly acne or rocesea or whatever. UGH. My dermat recommnded I use Benzolyl Peroxide 5%...and I have just bugun to do that. The cream Im using is Ultra Clearasil...so GRITTY...and not helpful. Aggravated my problem further. I think I must stop using that and try Sandalwood paste or oil.

I used proactiv for about 3 monthes and I was very unhappy with the results. It didnt clear up my face it actually made it worse. It gave me terrible break outs and increased the redness.

hey all suffers,iv had acne since 13 & no1 else seemed to have it_in the school as bad as me,its soo... imbarrasing,i was on raccutane 4 1 year which made me very depressed with little result,so 3 years later im on bp gel and eryomysin(antibiotic)and so far the results are great,my skin seems 2 b becomin more clear and 3 of acne.now an again i get an odd spot but they soon go-now its just the blemishes left over, but hopefully through time they 2 will go.fanks 4 all ur messages its made me feel better 2 no im not the only 1.i no how all of u feel,so gd luck in the future and b strong,it wont b there 4ever!promise.

I have been on ProActiv for 5 weeks now and my acne problem is worse than before. BP just made my skin very tight and dry and it never fails to cause a burning sensation whenever I apply it. Sure it dries up existing zits faster but I've also noticed that I've having even more breakouts when I'm using it. Such a disappointment.

i have tried the cream known as persol forte cream which is avaliable in india. it contains Benzoyl Peroxide 10%w.w.
it clears the face very quickly within a week but acne reappears again as soon as u stop using it. It also causes a lot of dryness and peeling and redness of the skin.

I think it sucks. I tried using it for 2 to 3 week intervals a couple times and it would clear my face up a little but then it would just breakout out again. It irrated my face a lot leaving it red and dry.
