Works to disinfect skin. It doesn't cure acne. It works well along with products like Differin or Retin-A and a BHA like salacylid acid and oral antibiotics. Benzaclin is a product that contains Benzol Peroxide and a topical antibiotic (2 for 1). If BP is causing pealing, drying, redness, or irritation, get your Dermatologist to prescribe a lesser strength (It comes in 5% or 10%). Acne sucks. I just turned 40 and have been battling this since I was 12!

BP is great.I have been using it for about 2 weeks and I can see the results.

Using 5% gel that is in combination with 1% clindamycin. Seems to be clearing everything up including deep cysts. Using pure virgin coconut oil with no fragrance for moisturizing is working well and controls rosacea too.

I use a Benzoyl Peroxide-based cream called Quinoderm 5. I have no side effects with this cream whatsoever, whereas Benzoyl Peroxide gel made my skin very tight. I have tried many other treatments like antibiotics, etc, which didnt help. I would recommend Quinoderm 5 to everyone!

nearly clear apart from a few spots grrrrrrrr! acne is the worst!

It worked a little for me but it really dryed out my skin but i will see how it goes in a while ....ACNE IS THE WORST

benzoyl peroxide is great.. EXCEPT my face would turn bright red after i used it and it would feel hot and burn like crazy.. so um id recommend it to ppl who dont have sensetive skin

Works fairly well i think, limited/no side effects (maybe a little dry). Fairly expensive cause in australia many antibiotics/accutane cost about $4.00, cause i have a concession card. BP costs me $20
|

Too harsh. Regimens with it take long. Outcomes are above average.

this didnt work to well for me it just seemed to make my face really dry so i stopped using it
