I've been on 5% Benzac AC for a couple of months in combination with 50mg Vibra-Tabs (Doxycycline). Having tried several other skin treatments/antibiotics in the past and having adverse skin reactions to them, I can say this is definately the most mild treatment I have used for my skin and also the most effective. Cream leaves my skin slightly red for a while after application and a while after washing it off in the morning, however its hardly noticible. Results are pretty good with my skin appearing much clearer, however acne is still present in small amounts and I've also noticed that when I do get acne it tends to last longer on this treatment than without.

This product is just amazing...i can say it tooks time but i am still using it just on the acne....it obsorbs oil from acne and it tooks all the oily material that created inside the skin out...then it dries it after awhile of using it daily no acne will stay on your faces guys...i am using it when i finish my work i clean my face with Clean & clear daily wash cream then i only put benzoyle peroxide-Neutrogena on the spot cream and keep it around 2 hours then at night iam using ratin a 0.05% it clears the scars or acne i used this for one month and my face now its very very nice i see it as mirow...i recommened this combination to all who is suffering from acne or cysts....iam happy and iam not using make up like be4...i hate make up its just a dust and it makes the skin dirty....:)

I have been usiing a product called Oxy 5, for about a week now and just recently noticed that my face is either really dry or it has hundreds of tiny bumps on it, hard to tell. It seems also really itchy. It seems to dry out the oil and the acne a lot. I recommend it for anyone who has oily skin, especially people who wear alot of makeup and the oil gets worse after applying it. Great to use under makeup. DON'T WIPE OFF WITH COLORED FABRICS! I wiped it off with a green washcloth and it turned it yellow.

I have been using the product for about a week. My skin is tight feeling and dry. Slight redness, but nothing bad. It seems to be helping dry out my acne. In just a week it seems to be going away. I hope it goes away completely. I would reccomend this product, only if you dont have sensitive skin.

Im a 15 year old with acne, i have had acne since the age of 13. my doctor recommended Benzoyl Peroxide and i have been using it for about a week now along with retin-a micro. I use Benzoyl Peroxide in the mourning, along with some coconut oil for moisture, and Retin-A in the night, and the combination seems to be working very well for me! When using BP with a non-clogging moisturizing agent, it works really well. An with REtin-A to prevent any new break outs, i havent been having any problems.

This was awful stuff for my skin. During the whole 2 weeks I used this stuff, my skin was red, itchy, and flaking off horribly. Then again, I may have had an allergic reaction to it.

it works well, but when washed off it creates more redness around the spot of treatment, leaving sometimes embarrassing marks.

Works to disinfect skin. It doesn't cure acne. It works well along with products like Differin or Retin-A and a BHA like salacylid acid and oral antibiotics. Benzaclin is a product that contains Benzol Peroxide and a topical antibiotic (2 for 1). If BP is causing pealing, drying, redness, or irritation, get your Dermatologist to prescribe a lesser strength (It comes in 5% or 10%). Acne sucks. I just turned 40 and have been battling this since I was 12!
