I have literally tried everything with the exception of Accutane, (not willing to risk the side effects). A lot of different products contain BP, but my suggestion is to go the dermatologist and get them to prescribe you something with BP in it. I tried proactive - it was horrible! But I have a compound from the Dermatologist and it is wonderful, after 2 weeks on it everyone around me was saying how great my skin looked. Had some dryness and flaking at first but now my skin is used to it and those side effects are gone. Stick with it and above all be patient and use it religiously!

Neotrogena Clay Mask was brilliant - but they've stopped making it!!! BP really works.

second most effective acne treatment that i have found....doesnt work as well as accutane, but also doesnt come with all the possible side effects. ive tried almost every acne product there is, and a 2.5% bp gel is the best thing for my skin. im in my 20s and dont have severe acne ne more, as i did when i was in high school and used accutane. if u have mild acne, try benzoyl peroxide, it might cause some dryness, but it cleared up my skin very well and very fast. if you have severe acne, try accutane, its probably the only thing that works on really bad skin.

This product was ok on my larger zits but my face was sooo irritated it turned bright red and my face competely dried out. As in like your face was a drought, when you try to move it, it feels like your face is going to crack, when you do move it, it hurts like hell. Besides, your face also peels and when you try to take them off it hurts badly. So when using this product try to apply them on the areas that have pimples only becuz if you don't it'll totally drie your skin. And for those of you that are sensitive skin I suggest you to not use this product.

Using Brevoxyl Creamy Wash (4%) and Evoclin at night for the past 3 days. My face is bright red, feels like it's on fire, and flaking everywhere! I think it's helping the blemishes, but I can't be for certain because of all the flaking skin and redness. Does the redness, burning and dryness EVER start to go away??

Man oh man i hate acne.....if there was one thing in the world that i would get rid of..it would be acne....i tried a lot of things....cleansers...gels...so i tried proactiv...as seen on tv...it was so convincing....i been on it for 3 months now and nothin ...it got worsse..i got blemishes on each side of my face...my forehead is clear as ever but just my sides r destroyed with acne....after usage the repairing lotion feels very dry and flaky and scaly....but i still want to stick to it to see if nehting happens which i doubt it....i use vitamin e revitaliser moisteriser to moisture the dryness on my face cuz its so irritating without it....cna anyone tell me why it does this?>????...

This caused a severe reaction of redness and inflammation
on my face. It really hurts. PLease try a patch test first.
