OK, so far so good. After having a nightmare with differin cream and isotrexin gel that made me look worse, redder and dryer I have been doing this program as suggested on this site for just 2 days. Already there is HUGE improvment. I am using Oxy On the Spot and it is doing the job well in conjunction with a derm tested Norwegian Formula Body Lotion on the face. Already redness is fading nicely and the spots are flatening too. I do not know entirely if the Differin and Isot which I suffered through for 2 weeks prior have provided a better place for bp to work, but as it is working I am not going to stop now. Also I have used Clearasil Ultra Treatment cream whcih seems to be a slightly altered version of bp (with Parfum!) which aggravates my acne. Avoid in my opionion and go for Oxy on the Spot (bp%2.5). Also I have been on anti-b's for 7-8 years now (have stopped using for a month now, they were no longer effective), I would now looking back advise not to take anti-b's they only end up fixing the problem short term while long term producing a more resistant version of the acne, not good + they destroy the good bacteria that would help long term killing the acne for good. I refer to any anti-b (tetrac/ doxyc/ minoc/ euth/ even flucloxillan which was the wonder anti-b for me, it really clears you up short term only, any1 who has started a flare up should try fluclox for a short term (1 week or 2) with bp, then avoid the fluclox until a big flare up again. If after a year (on-off ofcouse say 2 weeks every 3 months) you are still coming back to the fluclox, stop using. You can become very dependent as it works so well on cystic and sever acne, so that is why i say use it moderately. Anyway BP for me for the time being. I am anti-b free now.....

ok, i am certainly a victim of disfiguring acne. Its funny, while im broken out, people dont talk to me as much, i dont feel quite as confident about myself, and my social life suffers. However, when my skin is clear I'm king, and girls are trying to get friday night. Untill I started breaking out, mirrors were my best friends. I started using 2.5% BP and i've fallen in love with reflective surfaces all over again. i experience some drying, but not enough that cant be solved with moisturizer. btw, i never would have gotten some of the ideas i have if not for this site.

I've tried bp on and off for the past 2 years. I had such great skin, but soon as puberty hit, it got really pocked with acne. It also got really sensitive and oily to the point where I would wake up to a soggy pillow! The bp relly helped with the marks, but i don't know if it was because of my high sensitivity to it. I would apply a thick layer of the bp to my mark, and after a continuance of living it on for 3-4 days (weekends, not during school), I would be able to peel the mark off in a sheet, leaving evenly toned skin behind! The first time it happened, it was after i had guessed that leaving it on in a thick splat would bleach it faster. i couldn't have been happier with the results as it turned out!
