Basis Sensitive Skin Bar Reviews

Basis is inexpensive, last a long time and I can use it anywhere on my body. I started using it as part of my own recently discovered regimen - which by coincidence is the same as yours!

Everything about this product is perfect. I use this for my back, chest, and neck too. Works to perfection.

its gentle and works great with the regimen. there's no fragrance and it does calm your skin. i use it everyday with Dan's regimen and it seems to work for me

I'm a fan of the Basis brand, but this didn't do well with me. It actually burned my skin, and left behind a waxy feeling. Try the "Cleaner clean" liquid instead.

I don't think I had an allergic reaction but I am not ruling it out...You see it has been about two or three weeks since I started using the soap and everything has been fine up until four or five days ago, thats why I doubt it was an allergic reaction since it took so long to break me out. There aren't any other variables to this equation... I am on Minocycline ( have been for a good month or so... ) which keeps me clear, so I only needed a mild facial soap to use in the shower once daily. ( I prefer not to wash my face more than once a day since I also have been on Triaz benzoyl peroxide pads for months and that seems to deal with the topical bacteria. ) As I was saying, four days or so ago I started to break out in small red rash like bumps on my cheek, nose and forehead ( My acne consisted of larger whiteheads with cores and such before I was on Minocycline. The Mino has done away with those for the most part. I NEVER have had these little red ones even when my acne was at it's worst. ) I will discontinue the use of this soap, I guess either the oil, aloe or petrolatum is clogging my pores. Next I will either try Purpose or Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Control, ( Basis did nothing for my oil production by the way...)I just hope the dyes in the purpose won't break me out. Clearasil Ultra wash seemed to work fine before I used the Triaz BP pads, but I really don't want to go back to such a harsh cleanser if I don't need to. Word to the wise: Basis has oil, aloe vera extract and petrolatum, if they are known to break you out, and your skin isn't dry to begin with, then you may want to avoid this...May just be me though. :-(

This thing is definitely for every type of skin. It's very gentle, and yet it cleans my face really well. Instead of feeling like I haven't fashed my face yet after washing my face with other kinds of really moisturizing soap, this leaves me feeling really clean and fresh. And also...it's so cheap!! One bar soap lasts about... 1 month for me And it's less than 3 dollars.

It alone probalby won't clear out your acne though. You should also try baking soda and flaxseed oil. Look up the ratings in here.

This product works great! It doesn't dry out your skin and there isn't any harsh fragrance. It's a nice size bar and should last quite a while. It's a bargain at just about $3.00 a bar. I definately recommend this product!
