Pros: Great at taking off makeup, and so cheap. Cons: Tends to be a bit drying and stings if you get it in your eyes. Bottom Line: I have to say that I've tried everything. I don't suffer from acne horribly, but get zits here and there depending on the time of the month. Since I stopped using the three step system that costed me approx. $60.00 a month and switched to this mild bar soap my face has dramatically improved and for $2 for every 2 months you can't complain too much about that. Pros: Affordable alternative to Cetaphil products. Nice clean fragrance. Good lather. Long-lasting bar. Easy to rinse. Cons: Hard to find. When Walgreen's stock runs out, I have to order it via Amazon. Bottom Line: Unbelievably good product...leaves skin feeling soft instead of 'squeaky clean'. Pros: Super!! My skin is super sensitive to life and as long as I wash this off fairly quickly with luke warm/colder water its great (morning and night! ...My skin is sensitive to hotter waters. Now i need a moisterizer that doesn't hurt it. Cons: Hard to find, I stock up when I can find it. Bottom Line: I love it to pieces! Pros: Removes my makeup very well, is very affordable, and will last forever. Cons: Stings my eyes if it gets in them and is a little drying. Pros: Cleans, but not as well as other soaps Cons: Dried out my face after 3 days; Actually hurt after 4 days to wash my face; Didn't do anything for acne since I had to skip treatment for a day to let it heal. Pros: Very cheap, large amount for the price you pay, fragrance-free. Cons: Dried out my skin. Bottom Line: For a soap that says it's for sensitive skin, it dried out my face and made it feel tight, even after I applied moisturizer. The packaging also says it's non-comedogenic, but it contains lanolin and beeswax, two ingredients that I suspect, from using other products with these ingredients, causes me to break out. Pros: It cleans your skin as well as a high pressure hose would. Cons: It is too freakin drying. Bottom Line: I would not buy this soap again...I'll stick with Purpose. Pros: Doesnt break me out, doesnt make me peel, lathers up well, smells nicely, doesnt sting my face when I put the bp and dans moisturizer on top Cons: peels a little bit after I wash my face Bottom Line: Normally when I use a facial cleanser that doesnt agree with me, I will break out from it the same day. Ive only been using it since yesterday (8/9/07) and so far I love it! I havent broken out from it and my face doesnt itch like most cleansers Ive used. The redness on my cheeks has already subsided. I just ordered Dans cleanser so Im gonna rotate between his cleanser, this bar soap, and maybe use Aqua glycolic a couple of times a week.
