Baking soda works nice! but be careful it will bleach your clothes! I actually stopped because I was upset that I ruined some shirts- but I noticed a difference and started up again. I just mix it with water for a scrub/wash once a day.

Started using the BP gel about 9 months ago and then added Baking Soda to my routine about 6 months ago and it has worked very well for me. I usually just mix in a little bit with my cleanser at night, scrub very gently and rinse.
It has really cleared up the red spots, made my skin smoother, and seems to have helped with the smaller breakouts too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I ran out a couple of weeks ago and kept forgetting to buy more and in the week or so that I wasn't using it, my skin broke out again and wasn't as smooth as before. The only difference in my routine at this time was the absence of baking soda. Finally bought some more and my skin is now looking much better again.

Tried this for the first time last night and very pleased with the results. I put it on my face for 15 minutes then rinsed/scrubbed it off and my face was very smooth afterwards later when I put on my benzacylcin it actually felt as if it were being absorbed into my skin. Today my skin is still smoother less oily and red marks have faded slightly not sure about the long term effects but I am having a difficult time restraining myself from doing this everyday.

At first it seemed to help a little, but then my oil production increased and I had a bunch of little white heads appear on my chin where none had ever been before. It's a bit harsh for regular use.

I had a bad breakout like 2 days ago and my friend told me about baking soda...i was afraid to put it on my face coz i thought it might dry my (very sensitive) skin....But when i did, It worked wonders....Seriously..this stuff is the best...i've tried brand names facial masks for years and none of them gives you the results of this baking soda trick...
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

this stuff is such a wonderful secret. if you haven't tried this please do, for your own good. i use it 3X/week as a mask - i cleanse my face with something gentle. then wet my face, in the palm of my hand i mix about a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water, make a paste, smear it on my face (watch out for the eye and lip area), and leave it on for 15 minutes. wash it off using a gentle rubbing motion for that exfoliating action and ta daa - your face will be smoother and softer and pimples get buffed away. not a miracle cure, but use it often and you will notice a nice difference. and this site is such a god send for those of us with skin problems, for reals.

If you combine baking soda with a mask (one made of natural ingredients instead of a bunch of chemicals) and then put it on your trouble areas or individual acne, you can see it start to minimalize withing a few hours. It worked for me, and I've tried anything that doesn't require a precsription.

Loved the baking soda, I put a few tablespoons in a bowl then mixed it with some water. Then I began to rub it into my face and I realised what everyone was talkinga bout it being a exfoliating scrub. Wasn't as worst as some other scrubs I used since I have Chronic severe acne. I havent had any initial breakouts after my first time using it and now I am adding this to a weekly schedule. Ill do it 2 times a week and see what happens from there. I noticed I got reduced oil and redness.
