baking sode has helped to bring down the inflammation on my super big and irritated bumps, but I would definitly say not to use it more than twice a week if you have sensitive skin maybe once a week even. I dont use it on areas that dont have current breakouts either as it tends to irritate my skin. Make sure you are extremly gentle when u do use it and that you moisturize very well after. Other than that it has been quite helpful for me.

I am a 9th grader and I have acne almost everywhere! Boy, I'm glad this baking powder works like magic, unlike ProActive. Btw, my friend also reccommends you to use *caramile oil for the acne.'

I hate acne.. i just have scars from it now and occasional break outs.. right now i'm trying laser treatments but still not sure if its working or not .. it still relys on the drying of your skin and exfoliation.. blah.. i'll try anything.... hope it works

Did you know that making a mixture of baking soda and peroxide and putting it on your pimples as "a little balls" dries them out, put it on at night and let it stay on your face until morning, then wash it off. Love it!

I am 43 years old and I have been using baking soda as an exfoliant for at least 7 years. I mix about a tablespoon in with my cleanser about twice a week. I have extememly sensitive skin and boy does it work. I feel like I am taking years off my face the natural way...People even comment on how smooth and young my skin looks- I owe it to baking soda!!

Tried about a week ago after reading this wesite. Got two small plastic containers. One for sink and one for the shower. Varied amounts to get consistant paste. So far seems to work well. If a red bump starts to appear I will put a little mask with this paste on the bump and leave it there. It seems to reduce and dry up after a few days. Also tried a little vinegar but the soda seems to be the best. I am 55 and fought problem skin most of life. The natural part and the cheap price make it the most appealing. If continues to work I will post an update. I think the key is to gently scrub and rinse with cool water. Shower is the best place to apply.
