I have been using baking soda for four days now along with Dan's regime. I still have break outs. I am still going to continue to see if it will clear up eventually.

peoplez... baking powder and baking soda are totally different, when i first started using baking soda i was using baking powder and did not not read it properly, just thought 'baking' and i thought it was baking soda. Baking powder is different, there are additional ingredients, it has 'aerator' and corn starch, cuz when i started using 'baking powder' (but thought it was baking soda) it would puff up like hair mousse and it would dry out quickly and didnt like it, but soon later i realised i was using the wrong thing and i bought BAKING SODA, BI-CARB SODA, SODIUM BICARBONATE ~(wat i have listed - just wanted to let u kno there all the same thing) an its great s2 luv it...

I have to say thank you to everyone who recommended the baking soda here. It has been my miracle cure. I've always had a lot of whiteheads and blackheads. It started when I was about twelve. I'm now in my early twenties and I started getting painful cystic acne breakouts. Nothing worked. I've tried Pro-active and every other over-the-counter medicine available. My skin would just dry out and get flaky, but the acne would remain as well. I was about to go see a dermotologist when I read about the baking soda here. I started using the mask (about 2 tbsp. baking soda mixed with a small amount of water to form a paste) once a day to clean my face. I immediately saw an improvement. I stopped getting the cystic pimples. I have now been using the baking soda for about 3-4 months. I have transitioned into using the baking soda paste to wash my face twice a day (morning/night). I have never had such clear skin. Even the persistent whiteheads on my forehead have disappeared. I occasionally get some hormonal pimples on my chin, but those do not get inflamed like before and they go away fairly quickly. My complexion has also improved tremendously. I cannot say how great and affordable this stuff is.

I love this stuff..although it tastes terrible if it gets in ur mouth it's easy to make and it's effective...dont expect the blackheads to just disapear...but it really helps, with time...and it's so cheap...i have used so many products i just couldn't afford to keep using and now the best of them all is the cheapest and easiest

Amazing! Smaller pores, clearer skin (it takes about a solid 2 weeks to see steady results) and it's the most cost-effective of any remedy out there!

Keep in mind: For the first few days to a week and a half, your skin might have small bumps or even a few more pimples than normal. This goes away with continual use. I do a baking soda mask (lots of B.S. and a little water) about 3 times a week for about a half hour before bed and I couldn't be more pleased!
