I am very self causious nd always lookign in the mirror nd tomorrow i am going to Philidelphia getting interveiw by top modeling agents and it is sooo big! my skin broke otu a couple days ago TERRIBLY , just before my period. My friend told me to put baking soda nd water on my face but i didnt liten than i was browsing on the web today cuz i am DEPERATE! i saw tht this stuff works nd recommened so i just washed it off a sec ago nd i dont rly see a difference but idk maybe i didnt leave it on too long or i need to do it more than once

i had acne all over my face for soo long and couldn't stand it.. i've had numerous percribed medications and they seemed to work a little, but then totally stopped. i was thinking about trying proactiv but then i was having second thoughts so i googled ways to clear up your skin naturally or w/o special medications and i found this site. That night i tried baking soda and it stinged so much! i delt with it tho thinking that the stinging was good and that it ment that it was working. So after 15 mins i washed it off and could tell that my skin was less red, and smoother, and the next morning i could tell my acne wasn't as big and it def. wasn't nearly as red. i still continue to use this and i strongly recomend it!

omg it burns so much! i have it on my face as i am typing this and im telling you it really stings it works rather well though so it depends on if you would rather endure physical or emotional pain.

For 15 years, I have literally used every brand of skin care product, that is sold on the market.

For the past 6 months, I have used baking soda, as
the sole cleanser on my skin. I do not even need
to buy wash clothes, or expensive exfoliating scrubs.
I just use my own hands, as the tool to exfoliate.

Wet your face, and body. Turn off the faucet or shower
and just exfoliate, the baking soda from your hands, to your body and face, very, very gently, using circular motion. After about a few minutes, rinse off with warm water, briefly, until all of the grains are washed off.

Do this daily, but only on skin that is smooth and not irriated and with open sores.

I've been mixing 1/2 tsp in 1/2 glass water once a day, 1 hour before lunch (or dinner time) and it has helped clear up my face. I haven't using it yet as a paste, but I know it works internally!

it falls off your face becuase it is so dry. it's like clearasil vanishing cream.

Remember: Most of acne is caused by hormones. Cream acne meds don't get rid of hormones.

It was my mother who actually introduced me to this baking soda paste. I think it works really well but it tends to leave my face a little dry if I leave it on over night. It really causes the pimples to dry out though. Amazing.

I haven't used this on my face, but on my body acne, it did wonders (back - moderate: 90% clear, chest - mild: 100% clear).

I mix about two teaspoons (just an approx., I actually just tip it into my hand) of baking soda with enough water to make it into a semi-thick paste, rub it in, hop in the shower and exfoliate with a loofah.

I am 14 and I have moderate acne. I have small pimples on my fore head, and then sometimes I just get this big one somewhere. Right now its on my nose :S Anyway, I tried the Baking soda, and well it made my skin feel pretty soft, but I didn't notice any difference in the zits. I read some people had results over night, but that did not happen for me. But I am still using it mixed with my clenser. Willing to see what it does.
