| Bottom line | It cleared my pimples (Mostly, I'll keep using it!), it kind of "bleached" my scars, so they're not noticeable now, and cleared redness. I mixed a bit of it with water, and rubbed it on my face as a paste. Washed it off an hour later. It's great! |

| Bottom line | This actually does work on my skin and it's so cheap and easy to use. I usually use about 2 spoons of baking soda with like maybe a small bottle-cap full of water and mix it in until it becomes a paste. Then I apply it onto my skin with a Q-Tip and wait for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off gently with a soft cloth and warm water. At first, it may seem the redness has increased, but after some time, they'll go down. Afterwards, you can cleanse your skin like you always do, but this way of treating acne is much more useful then some brand-name products I've used. |

| Bottom line | It just may work for you! Use sensitive skin astringent after rinsing off baking soda paste so that pores are cleaned. Baking soda does not disinfect by the way, it is just an exfolliant. A tip for you guys also...throw away your shampoo. We all bathe in hot water and our pores get opened up. The shampoo lather w/ oils, dirt, bacteria get into your pores and ta-da breakouts. I use dettol soap or u can do research and find a shampoo that would not clog your pores or perhaps you use your acne cleanser hehe. And guys rinse your hair so that the nastiness flows down the back of your head, like what a gal would do. i wish dan would give us an option to view the top rated products on the website...so that others would agree to the effectiveness of baking soda. |

| Bottom line | Whiteheads, some blackheads were cleared, but not cystic acne. Thus, I had to continue use of BP, which meant my skin was still sensitive. The frequent use of Baking Soda then left my skin very painful and tight, so when I stopped using it, oil production and whiteheads came back with a vengeance. Using it less frequently is also not an option, as the results are not noticable. So I would recommend using this only if your acne is minor and your skin is not too sensitive. Use it about once or twice a week only too. |

| Bottom line | I seriously recommend this to everyone who gets acne. This was a miracle for me. And DO NOT QUIT USING THIS PRODUCT UNTIL ABOUT A MONTH AFTER USE! It is rare for a product to work miracles on your skin after only a few days. Give it some time. I didn't start seeing serious results until two weeks into using it. Now, I only have a few pimples left before my skin becomes acne free. |

| Bottom line | I needed a cheap exfoliator, and this seemed to work for a lot people. I made the recommended paste, and left it on for twenty minutes. I was expecting it to burn, and it did. Oh well. All for the greater good. But when I washed it off, my face was broken out in a horrible non-acne bumpy rash. Shame, because I really wanted this to work. People with really sensitive skin are forewarned. |

| Bottom line | I create a paste, apply to the face for 15 mins, wash off with cold water, this leaves my skin extremely soft but does dry your skin so use a moisturiser i use vaseline intesive moisture treatment. It also draws the blackheads out, after washing the paste off i can see that all my blackheads have come out, wich i then just use a towel and gently wipe them off. i have used twice now and have had no major pimple outbreaks, so far so good!! |

| Cons | Skin feels very flaky afterwards. Burning sensation lasts just over 2 weeks. Skin turns more red than usual and takes a month and a bit to adapt to the daily useage of baking soda & water. |
| Bottom line | If you suffer from acne and have tried all those highly recommended products off the shelves of your everyday pharmacy, this mix of baking soda is probably the close you'll ever get to finding the best cure for acne in a cost effective way. I tend to use 1 bottle cap of water to 2 spoons of baking soda in order to create an effective paste. Leave on for 20mins and wash, use 3 times a day, add some form of cream (such as clearisil) to get rid of flakes of skin after every useage. |
