| Pros | This is both the least expensive and most effective product I've ever used. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None for me, some report it's less gentle than they'd like. |
| Bottom line | I've never even let the baking soda sit on my skin, I've simply used it in the shower or at the sink in lieu of official face-cleansing products. My face feels cleaner and looks better afterward than with any other product, and an oil-free moisturizer takes care of the mild tight feeling the baking soda can cause. |

| Pros | very cheap and if you still can't afford, and for the people with no or little money i know exactly what your going through, its very easy to steal skin feels alot smoother |
|---|---|
| Cons | very slight burn for a few minutes, but nothing compared to other acne producs that burn and don't work tightens face but i really don't mind at all |
| Bottom line | I just now tried it for my first time, i made the paste (water and baking soda) and put it on my fave for an hour. There isnt a big difference like alot of these other postings say, but i feel alot cleaner and i feel like my pores are closed. I plan to keep this up for about a week or two and see how well it works. I have tried almost everything (proactive, murade, clean & clear, clearasel, and tons of other products) and nothing has worked, hopefully this is will actually work. I only recommend it because if nothing else works why not try something new. Hopefully everyone will have great luck with this. =} |

| Pros | Works fantastically...for a day. |
|---|---|
| Cons | My skin got used to it. |
| Bottom line | In one night of using it, I saw a complete change in my face. Literally murdered my whiteheads. Sadly, all the thought-to-be dead pimples came back within a day, and get no smaller, no matter how much friggin baking soda I put on them. I'd really only recommend this if your in a pinch, like the night before school pictures or something. |

| Pros | It works really well! I love it. I'm going into highschool in a week, and I'm so glad I've found this! It's easy to use, really cheap, and works great! Everything on my face is clearing up, espescially my forehead! I LOVE it! |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | Just make sure you use it right: 1. mix baking soda with enough water to just make a paste. 2. ONLY use as a wash, not a mask, or it will dry out your face and leave it peeling, blotchy and red. 3. make sure you use a good moisturizer after! This is the most important, because you don't want to dry out your face. I recommend you use this once a day, only at night, after washing your face with a facial cleanser. I've used so many different store bought products, and none work. Please try this using the directions above; if you do, your face will not be harmed, so you have nothing to loose except your acne! Just make sure to use as a paste ONLY, NEVER DRY BAKING SODA! And use a moisturizer after, preferably one that doesn't clog pores, like an Aveeno product. I use both moisturizer and cleanser from Aveeno. |

| Pros | myohmy!this works wonder.I lovee it:)I had a few breakouts in my cheek(dark pimples)& i used it for a couple of days,& officially gone.The browness of the pimple,was rub off. |
|---|---|
| Cons | sensitive skin people: IT BURNS A LOT. BUT, it means it is working, killing the germs. it can get quite messy once it dries. |
| Bottom line | Some suggestions: Mix with water, into powder paste let it dry for 15min and rinse it off. wipe it off with a clean towel :) if you have severe acne: i suggest use this everyday in the morning AND night. For not so severe acne: use this once a day each week. |

| Pros | It worked great! I had a huge zit on my forehead and it already reduced about half! I also had very noticable blackheads on my nose and they are almost gone after one time! |
|---|---|
| Cons | none yet! |
| Bottom line | It worked great for the first time...I don't know how it will work in the long run, but i have been using percription spot medication and the baking soda worked better in one day then that has been in weeks... |

| Pros | It significantly reduced the amount of pimples I got and helped to heal my existing acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | can burn when just using baking soda but I add a little honey for my sensitive skin and it doesn't burn. |
| Bottom line | It really works! I mix a couple teaspoons of baking soda with a few drops of water and a drop or two of honey in a light paste. (baking soda is a good scrub while honey moisturizes) Then, I massage my face with a hot wash cloth and spread the concoction with a cotton ball. Next, I rinse with a cold wash after a minute or two. I do this twice a day. Also, spot treatment helps to speed up the healing process even faster. |

| Pros | Cleans face like no other. All the bumps leave and safer than any exfoliater. Cheap, too! I actually wash my scalp with it, too and it cleared up my dry scalp. Leaves hair shiny. |
|---|---|
| Cons | none |
| Bottom line | Use it....it's a God send. I prayed and asked the Lord to show me what to use to clear up dandruff and He led me to use baking soda. So I tried it on my face and it's fantastic. |
