I can't believe it works so damn well. It is cheap and works better than expensive products on the market. I am a beauty editor and I have yet to find a product that works so well and is such a bargain.

I’m 35 and get breakouts every day around my mouth, chin and jawline. I ordered vitamin B5, biotin, vitamin A and a B-complex (I’ve read great success stories about B5) but haven’t received the shipment yet. I’m impatient so I tried baking soda (BS).

It’s Sunday morning and I started using baking soda on Friday night. It’s gentle and I haven’t seen any new pimples – maybe a small one or two that are just coming to surface. I felt a difference right away and the existing pimples are healing fast. Because I noticed a difference, I cleansed a lot on Saturday – maybe 5-6 times (don’t know if that’s advisable, but there’s been no irritation). I have noticed a little more oil production, but that may be because I wasn’t using my usual cleanser (Dermalogica Clay Cleanser). I also haven’t worn any makeup since Friday night – my pimples usually pop out during the day when I wear makeup…hmm. I’ll keep you posted after this coming week of wearing makeup.

This actually works pretty well. I had bad acne for a while and benzyol peroxide worked, put it made my skin look horribly dry and scaly. So now, i use baking soda with water on my face at night, and that works wonderfully! My skin is so soft now and radiant. It dried out all of my pimples wihtout harming my skin. It seems to soak up all that extra oil on my skin through the night, and really helps on my skin tone. Only downside is that it took like 2 weeks to work, but now i will never stop using it.

Incredible! I have been on all the acne medications you can think of (except acutane). Nothing worked very well or for very long. I was resigned when the dermatologist told me I was an acne lifer. I had nothing to loose so I tried baking soda. After two washes my skin was glowing and smooooooooth. There is hope yet! Get started.

I've used it twice so far, and I've already noticed a difference. I have stubborn acne prone skine (the kind where if you don't watch you regimine for a minute and even think of a pimple, you'll get one). I mix it with a generic version of cetaphil i got at walgreens (for like $5.99) and combine it with about a teaspoon of baking soda. This makes it more of a moisturizing paste (and doesn't sting as much as it does tingle). Scrub for about 20 seconds gently, then thoroughly rinse. It calmed my skin, and so far it seems like my skin is already a little clearer after using it last night! Most people don't know that those acne scrubs are TERRIBLE for your skin. It uses shards of ground apricot pits or something like that which actually cut/aggrevate/re-infect skin, making acne worse. Baking Soda is gentle enough to use on sensitive skin and "chemically" scrubs skin rather than physically scratching it to crap.

THe improtant thin to remember is that Baking soda is a base. I noticed someone said that they mix it with their face wash that has Salysilic acid in it. When you mix and acid and a base (like what she did) you basically render your mixture ineffective. also, I wouldn't leave it on your skin too much because there is a certain amount of acidity on the skin needed in the natural skin sloughing process.

So in conculsion It's great, but just don't overdo it (like anything) and don't mix it with the wrong stuff, because you'll end up doing more harm than good.

the things i have noticed after applying it as a paste (mix with two drops of water) : it makes skin feel smooth, and brings larger pimples to a head more quickly...other then that...it did not wipe away the pimple just like that! but it does have some benefits!

I just barely used it for the first time earlier today, and already it's helped so much! Especially for pimples that hurt really bad, the pain has gone down almost completely just after a few hours. I can't wait to see more effects from it.
