| Pros | - Very inexpensive - Reduces swelling and redness of pimples overnight - Makes my skin kind of look like it's glowing |
|---|---|
| Cons | - It's messy. Don't forget to rinse out the bowl you mixed it in, because it's hard to scrape out when it dries. The first time I applied the mixture when it was still runny, and it got stuck in my hair. - It burned some, but most face washes have that effect on me. What I really didn't like was how my face felt afterward- sort of tight and stiff. I didn't have any moisturizer so I used some sunscreen to soothe it. It worked so that's what I have continued to do. |
| Bottom line | I was skeptical, but after all these reviews I thought I'd give it a try. It's crazy how fast this seems to work! I'd never believe it if I hadn't seen it for myself. Most washes (Clearasil, Neutrogena, Proactive..) leave my face irritated with little effect on the acne. The first time I tried baking soda, I only used it on part of my face. I could not believe the difference the next day. To all of you who are skeptical about trying this, I say you should give it a chance! |

| Pros | - Face felt smoother, even after FIRST use - Starts working immediately - Gave face a brighter glow - Red/brown spots/temporary scars have faded considerably after ONE week! - Dried up new pimples fast - Skin is less oily |
|---|---|
| Cons | - You have to be VERY careful to not be too rough - Can be a tad messy (Because it doesn't come in a tube, you can't keep it in the shower, or get the box wet. And you need to keep a small bowl in your bathroom to make the mixture) |
| Bottom line | I just started this one week ago, and I cannot believe the difference! My acne is light (I mostly have little bumps on my forehead, and chin. And randomly get big painful pimples on my cheeks) I just had a flare up, and had one big zit, and two red spots from pimples the week before. I VERY gently scrub in circles for about a minute, rise off, then swipe Apple Cider Vinegar over my face and rinse it off with cold water. At night, I wash my face with a facial cleanser, dab baking soda paste on my blemishes, wait a minute, rise off with cold water, then go to bed. After one week, my red spots have faded dramatically, and my pimple dried up in two days, and it's on it's way to recovery! TRY IT! |

| Pros | * Exfoliates * Softens skin and evens texture * Seemed to help with my skin tone * Helps to treat blackheads * Cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | * A bit messy * Dries my skin out if I use it for a few consecutive days or more * May make sensitive skin break out mildly. |
| Bottom line | I find that this is extremely efficient at clearing my blackheads on my nose. I see results every time I use it. I think it might be just my sensitive skin, but after a few uses, I started getting pimples on my nose where I was applying the baking soda. I kept going however, as I figured that would be a temporary tradeoff for clearing my skin. When I stopped, however, my blackheads started coming back. So, for me at least, this works, but only with continued use. |

| Pros | makes skin smoother. brings pimples out. seemed to fade scars. |
|---|---|
| Cons | drying. |
| Bottom line | I used this for the first time last night. I rubbed it in for maybe a minute or less then let it sit and put extra on my pimples the washed it off after 2 minutes. I use evoo as a moisturizer day and night and i massage it in for a minute or so. Then i use vit. e as a spot treatment for my scars all of this together lightened my scars after one use. I wouldn't reccommened doing this everyday. But it works great. |

| Pros | Smooth as silk Gets rid of acne FAST!!!!!!!!!! Glowing skin!!!!!! It cleans my guinea pig's feet painlessly! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Smells funny... BURNS!!!!!!!!!!! |
| Bottom line | AWESOME!!!!! It worked like instantly! Even though i didnt have much acne, it work fantastic! I also added a little honey because it is also a natural, multi purpose acne medicine and i use both. I wish you could see my skin, it is literally glowing!!!!!!!! You can also add other stuff or use other stuff afterwards. I put on tea tree oil after. Try putting on lotion after and store it in a little container ( I used a bottlecap!) and apply with a popsicle stick. (unused. if you have a used one the high fructose sugar could break you out.) |

| Pros | Great exfoliator. I saw an immediate difference in my acne and acne scars. Cheap. Leaves skin feeling smooth and soft. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Has an unusual consistency. Burns, especially if you have any open cuts. |
| Bottom line | A great and cheap way of significantly improving acne. I discovered baking soda on this website and decided to give it a try due to all the positive reviews. I owe it the people who took the time to write how this product works. I can't be happier with how fast and efficiently baking soda has cleared up my acne. |

| Pros | - works well on acne and acne scars - gentle - smoother skin - helps put out the fires that I create on the stove trying to cook my instant noodles... =D |
|---|---|
| Cons | -.....dries out skin(?) |
| Bottom line | Basically, this stuff works great. it's an absolutely fantastic exfoliator that's still really gentle on the skin =) it helped my body acne a whole lot as well as my facial acne. (scars too!) and it's really nice to rub your arm and be like..."woah...that's really soft o_O" Also, it's uber cheap, for the people like us who can't afford spend like 20$ on a cleanser >.>...yeap.. |

| Pros | makes the face seem really clean after using softer skin feels as if it is healing zits as soon as you put it on |
|---|---|
| Cons | burns like HELL |
| Bottom line | I have very little acne, but just enough to bother me and make me feel less confident. i use this to get that clear airbrushed look on my face. i use the b. soda and leave it on for less than 5 min. was it off with hot hot hot water and a wash cloth. afterward i close my pores with lemon juice dabbed on with a paper towel. this seems to work good. i also use a few differnt other products, just a face wash i use every morning right when i get up and the at night before bed. i will also use toothpaste on a zit, just a little dab right before i go to bed and wash it off in the morning. this seems to be good! |
