Pros cleared my acne
Cons can irritate skin if your not gentle with it
Bottom line Loved it! It doesn't hurt to give it a try. If your like me you have tried everything else anyways.. Give it time though, you will have to have patience. It took mine about 2 months to see a dramatic difference.

Pros -Cost nothing unless you dont already have baking soda at home
-Makes ur face feel oil free, clean and soft
- Very easy to make and use
- Dries out your pimples and cleans our your pores
Cons - Messy but worth it
- When you get some in your mouth when washing it off your face its very nasty!
Bottom line I have moderate to severe acne, along with sensitive skin. I do this mask once a week or so I mix it with water and put a good amount all over my face for a minimun of 10 mins sometimes up to 20 mins. I'd recommend you do it before your shower because it does get into your hair but its super easy to rinse out. It makes my face so smooth and clean feeling, I love it especially if your like me and wear makeup daily. Your makeup applycation will go on smoother after this facial. My face feels just as soft and clean as a $30+ facial that i've tried before... So I totally recommend trying it at lest once.

Pros -Works as an exfoliator
-Softens your skin
-Brightens your skin
-Reduces redness
-Tightens skin
Cons -Has a bit of salty taste. (Not a big deal though, haha.)
Bottom line I got a little bowl and added a little bit of water. Then little by little I added baking soda while mixing it with a chopstick. Stop when you get a paste-like consistency. Add a couple drops of organic honey (or regular) and it will work as a moisturizer and soften your skin. I have read a couple reviews where they said it burned or stung for them, but it hasn't happened to me. Which was quite surprising because I have eczema and my skin is extremely dry compared to others. As to where I have to apply face lotion more than 3 times after I wash my face. If your face is known to be dry and flaky, I recommend that you add more honey rather than using baking soda on it's own. It will help balance out the harshness and will moisturize your skin as well! Make sure you do apply face lotion afterwards though. I don't recommend you use this everyday though. Switch around and try other home remedies such as honey or green tea facial. Use a home remedy every other day because your face has natural oils that are known to treat your acne. You don't want to wash it away do you? It's also good to switch your products once in a while. Like every other medicine, using the same product over and over again will be less effective over time because your body has gotten used to it.

Good luck!

Pros slightly reduced inflammation of acne
made my skin soft
cheap and very gentle
Cons is a little messy
will sting a little
very drying
Bottom line i have very sensitive skin, so i was skeptical about using this. it is not a wonderful for treating acne, as i did not see much of a result. however, this did make my skin very soft! i have only used it a few times, so maybe it will have long-term effects. i sure hope so!
P.S. it dries very quickly and will feel a little funny. when it starts to flake, its ready to be washed off. follow this with a lotion, as it really is drying.

Pros reduces pimple size in a short time
good, cheap exfoliator
reduces redness slightly
Cons none
Bottom line i used to have the worst acne ever but i went to the dermotologist and got retin-a micro, ampicillin and pan oxyl. i would use those products as prescribed and after a month of decent results i added this and honey to my regimen. it took all summer but i went from having more acne pimples than i can count(i counted 100 and gave up because i only counted on a qaurter of my face) to now having 1 to 2 on a normal day, when i break out like i am now which is not very common for me anymore i have 4 to 5(small and hard to notice tho thanks to this stuff) so basically this stuff works use it at night than put on honey over night after bs application

Pros Scrubby clean feeling
Seems to clear pores
SMOOTH and soft skin
Cons Didn't clear acne
Gave me a red rash under my eyes
Bottom line I saw the great reviews and was hoping this would help my acne. I've been using it for about a month now. I noticed at first that my skin was very smooth from it, and it seemed to reduce pores. I used it as a scrub in the shower...just poured in my hands and scrubbed on my wet face, leaving it on for about a min or two and then rinsing off. I have an unsightly rash under my eyes (red bumps) that started when I used baking soda. I was being careful about not scrubbing around my eyes too...

I stopped using the baking soda because it hasn't helped my acne. I have moderate acne and pustules, and it hasn't cleared since using baking soda. I feel my skin has gotten a bit worse--i attribute it to the pH unbalance that many say this causes.

Redness, dryness, nasty pimples...I'm just disappointed. I have apple cider vinegar but i tried that by itself before and it didn't help and frankly I gag when I smell it, so I didn't bother to use it as a pH balancer.

I recommend this as an occasional scrub, maybe once a month or week because it does make skin soft and clean feeling at first...I think prolonged use is unbalancing and unnatural for the skin.

I am now moving onto Kavi coral soap bars and will reveiw how that works out later. Nothing seems to have lasting effects for me (tretinoin, proactiv, vinegar, baking soda, etc) so I'm hoping this will help. I was only using Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser morning and night, baking soda at night, and leftover proactiv repair lotion at night (because I wanted some BP and felt I wasn't doing enough to address the acne).

If anyone knows of a really good acne fighting cleanser or something to use everyday please email me: foshodathomie@[link removed]

Pros -makes skin soft
-did not irritate skin
-very cheap
-noticed improvements with my acne
Cons tastes salty..
Bottom line i have had bad acne on my chin and around my mouth for about a year now. i am now in 9th grade and people make fun of it and my self esteem has been destroyed. i looked on here at what has gotten good reviews and i saw this did. i went and made a paste and applied it. i left it on for about 1 minute then washed it off.

this morning i noticed an improvement in the 2 biggest pimples. i applied it again but left it on for 10 minutes and then washed it off.

i hope this works because i have tried so much like acnefree and mychelle products as well as neutrogena and proactiv.

I cant say wether it works or not but so far it has given me hope. i suggest giving it a try.

Pros * leaves skin with a nice glow
* clears acnes, blackheads
* Easy to use
Cons * somewhat messy
* can be drying
Bottom line LOVE IT! found solutions to the cons.First keep a small container with baking soda in bathroom, wet face first with warm water, dip fingers in baking soda, clean entire face. To help with the drying effects of baking soda I use pure honey (Make sure it's pure and doesn"t have corn syrup added) as an after wash. Just put a quarter size amount in your hand, rub al over face, let sit a minute or two and rinse off. I follow up with cold water rinse to close pours. Makes Skins glow, even has deminished lines, scars and wrinkles!
