Pros: cheap, works better than ANYTHING I've ever tried Cons: can sting around eyes or if left on long... BUT IT WORKS, PEOPLE!!! Bottom Line: IF it dries out your skin, use extra virgin coconut oil afterwards sparingly. It won't clog poors or make acne worse, and your skin transforms! Seriously! And to think the CURE for acne on my face, neck and back was in my kitchen cabinet the whole time!! Argh! Pros: cheap!! Cons: none!! Bottom Line: I'm in my forties and i struggled with acne, until my sister told me she read that Baking Soda clears acne. Pros: I was hesitant to write on this forum after only two days of using baking soda, but I just had to share the secret that these expensive skin care companies don't want you to know. I've been using Murad for about a year, and it didn't improve my skin Cons: Absolutely no cons at all. I will write some later down the road if I encounter them. My only worry is that I hope it continues to work as well as it has. Bottom Line: Bottom Line is this: I was really upset the first time I used baking soda, not because it made my skin worse, but because I hadn't discovered this earlier. Turns out I've been wasting $70-$100 a month instead of using 89 cents the best way I possibly could. My self esteem has risen by tons, and I've already noticed a difference in my social life. Pros: This is cheap and works great.... ALSO... USE FUTUREBIOTICS for hair, skin, and nails. It's a vitamin. It provides all the daily essentials..... it's important to treat the internal problem as well as the external problem. I had severe acne.... Cons: and it works extremely well.... Bottom Line: Baking soda is a great topical treatment to dry out acne, but you need to treat both the inside and outside... try Futurebiotics hair, skin, and nails vitamin.... google it... Pros: It works wonders! When i went to bed I felt my clear skin! Cons: Don't leave it on for too long or it will burn a lil. After a day of not using it, my skin returened to how it usually felt before. Bottom Line: Its works! Its not pricey! oh and P.S it work even better if you wash you face with face bar soap then baking soda! Recommended: Yes Usage: Reviewer has used this item for a day or two. Pros: GREAT for cleanser and a smooth face. I have acne scars and oily skin. It seems to reduce the appearance of scars and controls the oil for a longer period of time! Cons: Irritates a little so dont use it everyday if you have sensitive skin. Use it every 2 or 3 days...but its worth it really! Bottom Line: Its cheap AND effective! Go out and TRY IT!! Pros: inexpensive, soft smooth skin, reduces oil Cons: none Bottom Line: Iive been looking for a more natural way to clean my skin. It tends to break out and is very oily. Therefore I will not use anything with oil or fragrance added. Love baking soda, wish I'd thought of it hundreds of dollars sooner! Pros: clears acne exfoliates tightens skin and shrinks pore Cons: don't use it to scrub your makeup off (obviously), but wash with afterwards Bottom Line: do it more affordable and works better...its common sense! Pros: AMAZING! Clears up skin, reduces redness/red marks, halts break outs, reduces oil, makes skin IMMEDIATELY look better than it did before Cons: Burns a bit when left on for a while/when you first begin using it Bottom Line: Go buy it! I decided to try the baking soda mask after reading these reviews and it really is as incredible as everyone says it is! I've pretty much completely stopped breaking out and my skin literally looks better and better everyday. A few nights a week (3-4 times) I first wash my face with an exfoliating cleanser, then mix the baking soda with a bit of water to form a sort of paste and then apply it like a mask and leave it on for 5-10 minutes then rinse off and apply toner and benzol peroxide. I am additionally taking 15 500mg pills of vitamin b5 per day (spaced out at breakfast, lunch and dinner). My skin is looking clearer than it has in months and months!
