Pros:Definitely cheap
Cons:Slight burning/tingling
Bottom Line:I have tried so many products. $70 for a tube of retin-A which did bring me out of the worst break out of my life and I highly recommend it. $20-$40 lotions, serums, oils, toners, etc. That was a lot of costly hit and miss. I am going to try for a week or two to determine the results. If this works for the money you pay then why not?

Pros:Does the job well and dirt cheap. Plus travel friendly - it's powder not liquid!
Cons:none
Bottom Line:Use it when your face is damped. Then rinse it off. Skin is so soft and you know all the dead skin are GONE! Dont leave it too long, dont use it too often. And about the dryness, nothing jojoba oil cant take care of. *wink*

Pros:Cheap, easy to use.
Cons:Immediately regretted using it.
Bottom Line:It might work for some people, but it was a bad experience for me. I tried it on a small area and it is still burning long after I washed it off. No thank you!

Pros:Cheap.
Cons:Extremely dry, scaley skin. Made me break out more.
Bottom Line:I started using baking soda because of the positive reviews on this site. I tried it for two weeks and, by the end of the second week, my skin was burning and extremely dry. No amount of moisturizer helped. I guess it works for a lot of people, but not for me.

Pros:Gentle exfoliant, improved skin texture, quick & easy! No burn for me!
Cons:None so far.
Bottom Line:I have been using topical retinoids for over a year. I was on Retin-A for about a year, which helped to bring me out of the worst flar-up of my life, however, I was still not satisfied with the state of my acne. I was then prescribed tazorac cream (supposedly the strongest retinoid) and have been consistent with it every night for three months now. After a substantial IB, I hadn't seen much of a result. Lately, I have found myself turning to natural remedies to supplement the Taz. I just read a story about someone that was cleared from adding baking soda to their regimen, and that sent me flying into the pantry to try some for myself. I must say, that within the first use, my skin felt considerable better. It felt more soft and nicely exfoliated. I left it on for 10 minutes and did not notice any burning (I wouldn't say my skin is super sensitive, but I have experienced burning with other products i.e. Mint Jeulep Mask) only a slight tingleing sensation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
