| Pros | wow. have struggled with moderate to severe acne for years. have tried "everything". bactrim is extremely effective (i take 2 double strength pills a day) very few side effects (unless you are allergic) my skin is completely clear (after 1 month! |

| Bottom line | I used this product for about 2 weeks and it did wonders to reduce my acne occurance and oilyness. However, after 2 weeks, I had a fever of 101, rash, and dizziness. I would give this product a shot because if you are not allergic, then it could do wonders. I had moderatly severe acne |

| Bottom line | I was really excited to try this drug because from what I read it seemed like it’s very effective when it comes to clearing up skin. For years I've tried every topical prescription available plus every other antibiotic. This was the last drug my derm was going to prescribe before moving onto Accutane if necessary. I started seeing results after just a few days of taking Bactrim, however unfortunately I developed an allergic reaction after a couple weeks: rash, extreme muscle/joint pain, trouble breathing, etc. While this drug is totally not agreeable with me, I’d still recommend it to others despite the harm it can cause to your body. Just be alert – if you start developing any signs of an allergy, stop before it gets worse! It can do some scary stuff. |

| Pros | Had acne problems throughout highschool (15-18). Tried topical stuff with no luck. went to tetracycline and some other antibiotics with little success. Started taking bactrim; my acne cleared up 100%. Along with retin A most scarring has disappeared |

| Bottom line | I stopped taking it yesterday to see if (hopefully) my acne has naturally stopped occuring. im 20; if it starts coming back I will go right back on it. I still wash my face twice a day with Cetaphil and apply retinA at night to stop scarring. If antibiotics like tetracycline aren't working for you and you don't want to step up to Accutane try this stuff out - it works great |

| Bottom line | I've been taking it for 3 weeks and I think I might be allergic to it since I've developed a rash but it's in the same area I touched the cat and I'm allergic to cats. So I'm not sure if it was the medicine or not but if your not allergic it'll be the best. It's been the best for me... |

| Bottom line | I had terrible acne which developed quite late, was 28 and it came without any warning! After trying everything I could i was prescribed Crime thoprim by my doctor. I didn't see the results straight away, but after about 2 months or so all my spots have vanished and i don't get new ones. I would recommend it to everyone! |

| Bottom line | I'm not sure what I have. I have moderate skin; however, Dr. tested my skin and my cultures came up positive for an infection. It looks just like acne and it's all under my chin/neck area. It even started spreading on my face! As soon as I started taking Bactrim, it's slowly healing. I really hope this works. And I hope I'm not allergic to this! |
