| Pros | I don't know if it worked or not... my skin is almost compleatly clear but i don't know if my cream did most of the work... |

| Cons | HUGE pill! I was scared to down that monster... I'm allergic to it... I broke out into a rash on my stomach, chest and arms (non-inflammatory and it wasn't itchy) I'm hypoglycemic and I felt that the pill made it way worse. |
| Bottom line | Worth a shot... with my luck of course I was allergic. No big deal though. Try it out enerything works different with everyone. If your hypoglymic and you take this though, it may make it worse( more "episodes" more often) like it did with me. |

| Pros | improved the quality of my skin. it feels so much softer. definitely cleared up my skin. worked right away on chest acne. |

| Cons | took FOREVER to work. normally i see results after 3 weeks, and then i'm clear after a month or so. I've been on for about a month and a half and i'm just getting really clear. the pills are huge. i have to take them with apple sauce or yogurt. |

| Bottom line | I suffered with acne, on my back and face, from the ages of 16 through 25. It became so severe and painful on my back, I went to a doctor. He said it was very bad and that I needed Acutane and that should see a dermatologist for it. I went to a demermatologist and he asked me if it was ever treated. I told him no and he gave me Bactrim. The acne was almost gone after a week and completely gone after 2 weeks. It flared up agian a little a year later and I took another 2 weeks of it. It hasn't come back in over 20 years. |

| Pros | fab stuff! no spots at all. I had mild acne but was plagued by whiteheads. They have gone completely!!! skin looks fab. Took about two weeks to clear up. I have now been using for about 6 weeks and have cut back to one tablet a day. |

| Pros | I loved this medicine. I did alot for my skin and confidence. It works really really well. I used to get those cystic zits and little ones too. I tried birth control first, then pro active, then tetracycline, then bactrim. |

| Cons | that you can become resistant to the medication, and also there is a chance of liver/kidney damage. |
| Bottom line | its a great medication to get rid of acne, i've been taking it for about 3 years off and on, only so that i do not become resistant to it, my skin has actually improved and i don't need to take as many pills or as often, i only start to take it if i notice more outbreaks or before a big event so i can make sure my skin is clear for my vacation or whatever. |

| Pros | In 2 weeks see a HUGE difference. Redness goes away within a week. No new breakouts. |

| Bottom line | I had terrible back/face acne for about 2 years. I tried everything. Bactrim cleared up my face very quickly and left my skin feeling smooth. Not for people who have anemia, like my case, because it can dangerously lower platelets. Once I stopped using Bactrim though, I ended up back to where I started. Just a bit less severe. |

| Bottom line | I am 44 and had a cystic breakout a year and a half ago that was more severe than anything I'd had in my teens/twenties. This acne is also causing some (minor) scarring. I take two pills a day (am/pm), but am also concerned on the long term effects of Bactrim and my liver (especially if you drink alcohol, like me!). It definitely helped for the first year but I'm now experiencing the same level of acne as before I started taking the medication. |

| Cons | I have used this product for... 4-5 months I'd say. It's great if you want immidiate clear skin. But it can cause liver problems and is not something you can take forever. |
| Bottom line | I STRONGLY advise if you decide to take this that you ontinue to do acne research and start a natural way of getting rid of acne. Bactrim will help it but the moment you stop you are back to where you started. This is a good medicine to take temporarily and not forever. I have recently stopped and let my natural regimen take over by taking fish oil, zinc, and vitamen B. THIS is a cure you can take to the moment you die and might actually make you live longer! It helps with your heart! Please dont rely on this product fully it is just something to give you some self confidence but you need to think of a future regimen. Don't rely on antibiotics, you dont want to kill your liver and perhaps worse. |
