| Pros: | I love it! I went to work right away without any itching, peeling, or redness. I works wonderfully under moisturizer and/or make-up and it also gives skin a smooth and clear appearance. I also love it because it's non-drying, stainless, and odorless. |
| Cons: | My only issue was a very mild tingling at application for the first week or so. Other than that, nothing. |
| Bottom Line: | This works the fastest, and gives the least amount of side offects than anything i've tried in the past. Definitily recommended. |

| Pros: | Has cleared up clogged pores and reduced the life of cystic bumps. My skins hasn't peel or become red. Towels & bed sheets are bleached. I can use make up without issues (after the burning/itching stops). |
| Cons: | It itches and burns for 10-15 minutes everytime I apply. It's a bit expensive with my insurance - $50 a tube - which lasts about 3 months. Boyfriend can't kiss me anywhere on my face after I apply. |
| Bottom Line: | I love this product simply because it doesn't stain my towels or bed sheets. It has cleared up my acne and reduced clogged pores. I don't break out as often. When I do get a pimple/cystic bump, it leaves a much lighter mark on my face. I've been using for about 8 months. It still burns and itches, but worth the price for clearer skin. |

| Pros: | It seems to help prevent acne without irritating my skin at all. I would definitely recommend trying azelaic acid. |
| Cons: | expensive! a tube of brand name Finacea cost me $90. one tube seems to be lasting about 2-3 months with twice a day application. But, I have no other cons to speak of! That's unusual for any kind of acne treatment. |
| Bottom Line: | It's hard to tell, but my azelaic acid topical cream (Finacea) seems to be helping prevent acne for me. I have sensitive skin, and yet it doesn't cause any itching or burning unless my skin is very dry. I use Cetaphil lotion with Finacea. I also apply it underneath my makeup and it doesn't clump up or anything. It's as if the Finacea isn't there. It also doesn't have an obnoxious smell or any color. I see no down side to using it except the price. |

| Pros: | Works very well in a short period of time. I have been impressed with the product. My skin is not dried out or peeling. |
| Cons: | Price; there is some itching when you first apply the med, but this does go away with time. |
| Bottom Line: | I had an event coming up that I wanted to get clear for...Azelex has worked wonders. Were it not for the dark spots my acne leaves behind (which Azelex is helping with, too) I would be ready to throw out all my foundation. My skin looks great. |

| Pros: | Helped clear up mild acne |
| Cons: | caused reccurent cold sores, a possible side effect |
| Bottom Line: | I have gotten about 5 cold sores in my life before I used this product. When I started using it I got one every month for three months! Once I got 2 in one month. I talked to my derm and that is a possible (but uncommon) side effect. It helped my skin but wasn't worth it for me. |

| Pros: | it works! No dry skin, as with many other acne treatments; can be used during pregnancy; saw first results in a week, although doctor told me that it should take 8 week. I had sever cystic acnes and azelex helped anyway! |
| Cons: | I don't see anything that outweights the major results that I have got. I didn't even have any burning and itching that doctor warned me about. |
| Bottom Line: | I love it! Life saver! |

| Pros: | Having rosacea azelaic has worked great for me. I know there are 2 versions, one gel and 1 lotion, both of which I have tried. the fineca gel @15 works better than anything the derms have tried so far. Cool calm & corrected from dermadoctor for after |
| Cons: | price. the burning and itching stops after a few days. |
| Bottom Line: | Stick with it, We all know if somebody tells us a product will work we will buy it. In this case I have tried them all and this one DOES WORK |

| Pros: | This medication got to work right away! I saw reddness reduced after a week. After about 3 weeks people that knew me came up to me telling me how great my face looks. |
| Cons: | It's not a miracle. I didn't expect to find a miracle drug though. Around my period I still break out, however not NEARLY as bad. I used to get hard painful bumps on my cheeks and jaw that would last forever! |
| Bottom Line: | I only use this product. No moisturizer or any other acne product. I wash my face with AVEENO baby hair and body wash. Then apply this medication twice a day. It itched the first week and it was more like a tingling that lasted for about 15 minutes. I don't feel that at all anymore. TRY IT!!! You'll be happy you did! The tube lasts me about a month and a half and my insurence covers half. A bit expensive, but I like the results so I will pay. |

| Pros: | This works right away to clear skin. Gives skin a nice dewy glow. |
| Cons: | Itchy, stops working after a few weeks |
| Bottom Line: | For me, this cleared up my skin very fast and prevented new breakouts. But after a few months my face got used to it and it was like I had never even used it. |

| Pros: | I have used this cream for about four days and my husband has noticed a difference. I hope it will help my acne scars. |
| Cons: | I burning and itching is very hard to deal with!! Is there anyone out there that can recommend a non-greasy moisturizer for the face. My face is very dry and starting to peel. |
| Bottom Line: | It's only been a few days. I am using this with Doxy 150mg a day, Ziana gel at night and this cream in the day time. I hope it works!! P.S. the product is very expensive without insurance. |
