Pros:This stuff definitely seems to dissolve the clogs in the pores on my forehead and I haven't had any big pustules or cysts since starting it.
Cons:Dries my face out horrendously after application, followed by an oil slick that Exxon would be proud of a few hours later. Burns and itches like mad, especially after I've shaved. Does absolutely nothing to prevent small zits on my chin and nose.
Bottom Line:As far as getting rid of my acne, this stuff is on the borderline of not working and making it worse. It also seems to exacerbate my oily skin problem and redness (caused by the acne that it doesn't kill).

Pros:It really helped clear up my acne, and my face feel a lot more moisturized.
Cons:It does itch at fiirst, and it doesn't get rid of blackheads
Bottom Line:When I first used this product it itched! Insnaly bad but I stuck with it and I have had AMZING results. It really helped clear my acne up, and it really doesn't itch that bad once you get used to it. I think this is the longest I have been able to use and get results from an acne product.

Pros:This stuff works much better than all the other topicals products I have tried
Cons:mild itching and flaking- can be lessened by cutting back a bit and then resuming
Bottom Line:I have tried retinoids, salicylic acid, bp, duac, and various home rememdies like tea tree and apple cider vinegar. This is the only product that I can really recommend as something that works fast, effectively, and is well tolerated

i really recommend trying this

Pros:Cleared up skin immediately. Dries fast, reduces oil, makes skin look normal!
Cons:Slight dryness at first.
Bottom Line:I've been using Finacea for approx. one week and have had ZERO new pimples since the first day I started using it. My skin reacted to it a bit at first with some dryness and flaking but now, just one week later, it looks unbelievable. I haven't had clear skin for 7 consecutive days for as long as I can remember. I have used EVERY SINGLE product there is - Retin-A, Clindamycin, Benzoyl Peroxide, Antibiotics etc, and nothing has ever given me results like this. Right now I'm on 10% BP wash in the morning and at night, Finacea morning and night, and Retin-A mixed w/my heavy night moisturizer at night, along w/oral antibiotics 2x a day. My skin hasn't looked this clear in years.

Pros:I have used the product for only a couple of weeks. Have not experienced any stinging or burning. I am using it for brown spots and reddening on the cheeks.
Cons:None
Bottom Line:Will continue to use it for a couple of months to see if it lightens the discoloraton. So far, the product is easy to use and there appear to be no side affects.

Pros:Gets rid of oily skin
Cons:Doesn't stop whiteheads, turns your face very red, and causes itching so bad you would pay to take a wire brush to your face.
Bottom Line:I was only on this for 7 days so I'm not the best judge. I was on Clyndamycin and switched to this and I had to spend the next week locked up in my apartment. I never quit medication no matter what but I just couldn't stay on this one. You say to yourself that the itching is no big deal but when you combine incredible itching with steps in the wrong direction it was an easy decision. I can't imagine that this wouldn't turn anyone's skin into a crust filled wasteland but then again everyone is different. Definitely use at your own risk!!

Pros:I've been on Finacea azelaic acid get 15% for 2 months now and I can tell you that the changes in my skin are great. My break outs of acne has dropped I'd say 90%. I use this cream along with Differin at night and an antibiotic. I feel good now.
Cons:Some burning when I initially started using the cream and flaking. That lasted for the first two weeks. Now I put it on and go with no problems.
Bottom Line:It took time to see the results. I've been on these meds now for two months and I can see the changes. My family and friends also notice that my skin is healthy and compliment me all the time. My skin is smooth to the touch, I still have some scaring but that is even lighting up over time as I continue to use the medicine. I ensure I was my hands before and after application, try not to pick and cleanse my skin twice a day with a hypoallergenic facial wash. My confidence is up and I hope you will experience the same results as me. I would recommend this to anyone. I'm in the military,it cost me nothing just my time to put it on and use it as directed.

Pros:havnt noticed a great deal of difference but have only been on it 2 weeks
Cons:stings quite abit
Bottom Line:hasnt really worked all that well, when i first started with it it kind of worked but im stil getting break outs. maybe within time it will start working but i dought it. it stings quite abit when i put it on, stings for about 10 minutes. price wasnt a problem because its on the nhs which is lucky because i think i would be quite annoyed if i had to pay for another product that doesnt work.

Pros:Clears acne and helps with oily skin it is also so moisturizing that my daughter doesn't need to use a moisturizer with it and her skin is extremely sensitive and very very dry to the point that i had spent a fortune at sephora in moisturizers.
Cons:Absolutely none she says sumtimes it itches just a little but is gone after a few minutes and thats only happened a couple of times.
Bottom Line:My daughters face is soooo clear shes thirteen and i was spending so much money trying to get her skin clear again. She uses Korres White Tea cleanser from Sephora and Azelex cream in the morning and night. Her face started clearing after a week of using the azelex cream before this she had used proactiv, clearogen, cosmedicine, ddf, erythromycin and nothing worked at all. This is truly a Miracle Cream!
