Azelaic Acid (Azelex) Reviews

I've been using Azelex cream for a few years now. I have the type of acne that comes from below the skin and manifests itself in huge cysts. I thought this stuff would never work, but at first, it did! My skin nearly completely cleared up for about six months! But recently I have had a bad breakout and this stuff doesn't seem to work anymore. It sort of shrinks the zits, but they look the same.

ive been using azelex for about 4 weeks. I havent seen much of a difference. Hopefully it will start working!! it itches like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This works great if you want short term results. It does seem to fade red marks rather quickly, and it also gets rid of pimples quickly. The problem is that it must be used two or three times a day in order to work. If you stop using it, the pimples return. It ITCHES LIKE CRAZY!!!!!
I would say that it is definitely worth it though.

i been using azelex acid for awhile it cleared up my surface promblems lighting my blemishes and also stop most pimples from occuring might get two new pimples a week better than a full face of zits poping out i can control my acne with this medication

Helps surface problems but useless for deep cysts.

itched badly, also seemed to cause redness and slightly peal skin. acne was still there though

All it did was make my face itchy, is quite good for fading red marks though.

I use skinoren cream which contains azelaic acid. It has changed my life. It is the only product that has made a long term difference in my skin.

Got rid of most whiteheads, and reduced the oil production for me. The only thing is it itched terribly. I'm assuming this is solely dependant upon the person.
