AZELEX IS CRAP!!! it burns for about half an hour after putting it on along with the fact that it doesnt rub in and leaves white spots on your face. Notice little/none improvement of acne..

This stuff burns really bad when you put it on, and also leaves sort of a white film on your face which was bad for me because my doctor told me to use it in the mornings. The only thing I noticed while using it was that my face was really red where I had applied it, but there was no difference at all with my acne.

I have been battling acne since I was in high school over 20 years ago. I have been using Azelaic Acid for 2 weeks and I am seeing some results. When I first started using it I broke out really bad but my face is clearing and the scarring is clearing as well. I use Azelaic Acid in the morning and Retin A at night. I also take an antibiotic twice a day.

Azelaic itches my skin when I first apply the medication but the sensation disappears within 10-15 minutes. I have hope that this medication will do the trick finally.

i just started using finacea yesterday and i'm hoping it works!(cross my fingers*). i've tried almost everything except for accutane and i'd rather not use it if i don't have to. If anyone knows about how long it will take before i start seeing results please let me know:]

Best med i've tried in 16 years and I've been on a lot of different ones during that time except accutane. It made me break out in a lot of little white heads the first week, but after that cleared me up pretty well. The acne animal is still under the skin but contained well. I've been on it for approximately 2 years.

I just recently started using Finacea and i really am starting to like it. My skin is really sensitive i've trie proactiv and the other acne free products that seemed to work for all my firneds but just made my skin worse. As soon as i put Finacea on i can feel my skin starting to get better. The only thing is that it itches pretty bad for the first half hour or so but after that it's great. I only use it at night though and noting in the morning i dont wanna over dry my skin. I guess it just depends on who you are and what side effects you'll get from it =)

I'm using Finacea and I love it! My skin has never been so clear. I was using the Skinoren cream, but the Finacea gel has a higher pH (4.8) so it doesn't burn as much as the cream. My skin is very clear and my pores are closing. I totally recommend giving this a try.

I didn't start having skin problems until I was about 20, and they have been getting steadily worse over the past few years. I've been on every acne treatment (OTC and prescription) short of this and accutane. My dermatologist put me on a 2 month trial before advancing to accutane, and I'm two weeeks in. It's very itchy for the first hour after I put it on, and at random points throughout the day. My face feels dry initially, but within a few hours I have more oil on my face then ever before. It seems to be helping with preventing nodules and cysts in unaffected areas, but it is not helping with the little pimples or blackheads. Also, it is causing lots of inflammatory and painful whiteheads that seem to be spreading locally. It also seems to be making my face prone to bleeding, even if I simply inadvertently scratch it because it's itching. I hope it gets better. Right now my face is worse than it has ever been.

great for rocacea my face is no longer red and flakey,a little dryness.I was lucky I didnt have too much irritation

Stings like mad but does help reduce scars. Been using for 6 weeks and spots are still bad (have implanon so that may be why). Worked for a week but still having some horrible zits popping up. Greatly reduces blackheads. Overall a good cream but only for the ultra brave acne sufferer. I have to sit in front of a fan for 30 mins post application to calm itching.
