Almost soothes the skin. I hadn't shaved my face in a couple of weeks and my neck was beginning to get itchy and irritated under the curly nrck hairs. After shaving my neck is smooth and free of bumos...sweet. Pricey, but wortth it.

Have used this product for years. Last batch clearly has a strong fragrance! The information line gave me the news that the product was reformulated in 7/03. Added fragrance is supposed to be non-irritating to skin, but certainly irritates my olfactory. They say that "positively smooth shave gel", another product, is still free of stink.

Great gel. I bought some yesterday and I used it for the first time this morning and I am totally satisfied. No skin irritation whatsoever. Whenever I used other gels my face would get itchy and red after use, but not with Aveeno. It is the best $ 5.30 I have ever spent.

This product is absolutely fabulous! My sensitive skin totally agrees with this product, unlike most shaving creams/gels out there...I have the most volatile skin one can have, and let me tell you I won't even consider using anything else.

it didnt really clog pores, but when I shaved it hurt because the razor didnt seem to glide. I recommend neutrogena shave gel

My favorite shaving gel. Has a thicker consistency than other shaving gels and protects better than Edge. The smell is great also. I highly recommend this product.

Both my husband and I have used this product. He says it works well on his face; that it is more gentle than other shaving creams he has tried. As for me, on my legs I didn't find much of a difference from other creams, but it was better on my sensitive body parts (ie. underarm & bikini). I tend to get lots of red bumps when I shave tose sensitive areas, and I found this cream to help prevent that. Not much for fragrance, which is good. A little more cost than other brand products, but we thought it was worth it. We would recommend trying it.
