I used to have very bad acne which left horrible rolling and ice pick scars. I researched Restylane and was told it would be better for the rolling scars and not the ice pick ones. I had my first procedure yesterady and I am amazed by the results. I did have some puffiness and the procedure was a bit painful but worth every cent! If it does last as long as they say (6 months) I will for sure have the procedure done again. My skin is smoother and you can hardly see any scars!

I had perlane injections (similar to restyline) 2 weeks ago and I love love love the results. Doc also did some subcision. I have had scars forever and now with aging it looked worse (I'm 50). I am so happy with the results I highly recommend it. I just wish it lasted forever. Cost was $2100.

i had 1cc of artecol,loved it the Dr, did great i had to go to mexico tiawana at cos-med DR.Fuentes ,but i have had it for 8 mo. and it looks great but i am only 30,my mother on the other hand is 50 and has been a smoker ,had no lips left and alot of wrinkles around her lips could not even wear lip stick,BUT after 1 cc ,they plumped up has stayed and lipstick does not run, & no more lines !! $450 a cc,and we have our next app. to do more,the doc will onlydo 1 cc a vist make you wait a couple mo. the u can proceed ,so no over done lips !!!

my dr charges 450 for the restylane and saves my unsed restylane for as many visits as it last with out charging me exta i get 3-4 visits per 450 this is good becasue he doesnt have to overfill

I HAD SOME KIND OF FILLER THAT IS SUPPOSED BE BETTER THAN COLLAGEN, BUT NOT AS CLUMPY AS RESTYLANE AND RADIANCE. THE DR. TALKED TO ME INTO IT. IT WAS CALLED HYDRODERM OR SOMETHING. ONE WEEK AND $400 LATER MY SCARS LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME. I'M NOT SURE IF HE INJECTED IT TOO FAR OR WHAT! I HAD BRUISING FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND WAS HOPEFUL IT WOULD WORK. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

This procedure sucked! It cost me $500 for the injections (that hurt tremendously) and the results lasted for one day. It also made me break out.

Artecol: I have had two treatments with this. This first doctor that treated me was a hack and my face was left bloody and bruised for two weeks. He injected the filler too deeply and it had no effect.
The second doctor actually knew what she was doing and I've been pleased with the results. There was no signs of treatment (no bruises or clots). Results were good but not miraculous. The results still hold up two years after treatment. Unfortunately it was difficult to point out all the problem areas at the doctors office in their good light. I am still looking for further improvements.
Restalyne: I had this treatment but was disappointed that the results wore off after only a few months.

Oct.13,2004 -I had Radiance dermal fill injected into scars on my cheeks. Doc did subscision first I had no bad reaction, some bruising and swelling afterwards yet, no pain.
Now 5 days later..swelling gone, little yellow bruises remain. Scars are only corrected about 50%..I look better, but not as good as I thought I would..I will be going back for more on Nov. 1, 2004.
I certainly hope this Radiance last the 2-6 years as advertised..I would hate to be paying $1200.00 for 1cc every 6 months...Eeeek!.. I will be living in my car..!!!

have had multiple treatments with artecol-semi-permanent filler with good results,best if done with subcision,and injecting artecol implant underneath scar tissue,noticeable elevation occurred in less than 3 months,the time needed for your body to form own collagen around implant.minimL DISCOMFORT IF ANY,recommended

Restylane is my magic bullet until a longer-lasting filler comes along. It works great for smoothing acne scars - especially those on the cheek.
