Pros Reduces redness and size of acne.
Cons Dries skin out on non-acne affected areas
Bottom line Love this stuff!

I usually only get zits around my mouth, and to a lesser extent my eyebrows. I have never been able to find an effective spot treatment until now. Before now I have just been using prescription Differin and Eryacne (at almost $100 for both every few months) plus Doryx tablets. However these dont stop the breakouts and I need to use them consistently every day.

Using crushed up supermarket aspirin just with water as a all over mask every few days and as a daily spot treatment has been so amazingly effective! - but I appreciate that it's still early days.

Will continue to use my prescription meds until my skin sorts itself out, then ideally I can wean myself off.

Pros Leaves skin softer
Reduces clogged pores, small pimples
Cheap, easy, effective
Cons A little messy
Bottom line I have been using this product for two years now. Yes, two years. Every morning, I get three uncoated aspirin and mix it with some water, scrubbing my face while in the shower. My skin just FEELS better when I'm done with this. I ran out of aspirin a few days ago, and started breaking out with small pimples and clogged pores all over my chin. I ran out to go buy the aspirin, and within ONE day, it is better. I love the Aspirin exfoliation. I buy a big thing of 500 at Walmart for 3.50ish, very cheap price. Sometimes, if I'm having a breakout, I'll do the mask, and that also seems to be effective in healing my larger pimples quicker than normal. I have encouraged my sister to try this as well, and it's made her skin so soft and smooth.

Pros Leaves skin clean and soft. It gets rid of pimples over time, it won't get rid of it in a day.
Cons It dries easily.
Bottom line Its great! I still have pimples but its way better than before. Use HONEY IT! It lets it stick better and honey is good for your skin. DO NOT use it everyday but once or twice a week because you have a higher chance to get sunburned.

Pros - reduces redness and size
- works as an exfoliator
- makes skin soft and smooth
- helps visibly infected pores
Cons - hard to apply because its grainy
- messy
Bottom line Aspirin works so well on inflamed pimples because it helps to calm it down :) I did have one that was coming (could feel it and it was red that area) and I put aspirin on it last night and this morning I could still see it but the bump was somewhat reduced. When its time to wash off it acts as a great exfoliator, so basically this mask leaves your skin less infected, less red and smoother :)

Pros - dries out acne
-reduces redness
-reduces size of pimples
-shrinks pores
Cons - drips/rubs off easily
Bottom line I use this product multiple ways. At first I was just using it as a mask, crushing up 3-4 pills and mixing them with honey. This method was making my acne smaller and less noticeable. Also making my skin feel smooth. When scrubbing off the mask, the asiprin becomes an exfoliating scrub. For the last three days I have been mixing a few pills with my benzo cream and leaving it on over night. It seems to rub off by morning, but my face was more clear than I have seen in awhile yesterday. I'm going to keep trying it... and hope to get even better results!

Pros -Easy to make
-Inexpensive
-Makes skin smooth as a baby's bottom
-Dries out exisiting eruptions quickly
Cons -Tad bit messy
Bottom line I dissolve four aspirin in a tablespoon, then add a few drops of honey. I gently rub the paste onto entire face - leave on for 20 minutes. As I remove, I gently exfoliate.

I've been doing this daily for roughly 2 weeks now and my skin is smoother, brighter, and 'clean' looking. I'll continue with the daily use until I feel mild breakouts are under control - then I'll decrease usage to 3 or 4 times/week.

Great mask!
