Pros: Its very cheap! Near instant results! Cons: ? Bottom Line: I just tried it for the first time today after reading about all the rave reviews that the Aspirin mask got. But, I must say, you do get almost an instant difference, whether it lasts or not, thats a good question. I have incredibly oily skin on my face that Im trying to combat with Diane 35. But while I was waiting for Diane to kick in, I decided to use the mask. It helps if you have a little water in a bowl and then add the Aspirin. You'll find that the Aspirin will dissolve in like 10-20 seconds and its much easier to crush. More than anything else though, it does minimize your pores! Pros: Reduces size and redness of acne faster then anything i have tried. Cons: Within a few hours, skin will be red again. Bottom Line: I had to do it 3 (5 times in some areas) times in a row, leaving it on for 15 minutes each time before i got results. I had to reduse the redness cause i was going to the beach to go swimming that day. And i don't think i got sunburn on my face, so thats a lie. It did help alot, but then a few hours later the redness came back. I'm gonna keep trying it tho. I just use asprin and water. Recommended: Yes Usage: Risa has used this item for about a week. Pros: cheap- even in australia, $5 for 112 pills, and that was from chemmart! Cons: not AS great as everyone here has said it to be so far Bottom Line: just did it 2 mins ago only on my chin. i broke out a few weeks ago and have really large ones on chin only (rest of face clear) that go really deep but also some small normal ones. the smaller ones- reduced in size dramatically (matter of minutes!) but redness still there. large ones- still there, not sure if they have become smaller, but i will update if it does tomorrow morning. overall, redness still there, but size reduced by HEAPS seriously. this works if you guys have those surface acne or lots of blackheads. what I did: washed face with clinique mild liquid facial soap applied mask (3 100 mg aspirins and a little bit of honey and water) waited 15 minutes then exfoliated mask rinsed with warm water andf inished with cool water, towel dry astringent (mild- aloe and vitamin e), then used clearisil spot clearing cream and finished off with gariner pure a anti imperfections daily moisturiser hope this helps- i say try it, i just checked again and it looks SMALLER Recommended: Yes Usage: nic has used this item for an inconsistent period of time. Pros: This product is cheap, easy to obtain and not too hard to mix together. Pros: Affordable, easy, and worked VERY well (I made mine with honey)! I a saw noticeable in my skin texture after just one use! Plus, the honey makes it smell really nice, too! Cons: None! Bottom Line: I mixed 4 aspirin, 1/4 teaspoon water, and a couple squirts of honey all together and spread the mixture over my face. I let it sit for 15 minutes and then washed it off, letting the aspirin exfoliate my skin. After just one use, I saw such great results. My skin was so much smoother and softer, and my pores seemed tighter and less noticeable. It seems to have made my existing pimples smaller, too! I was so thrilled with the results! My skin really does look fresh and beautiful now. If you haven't tried this, do it! You have nothing to lose!!! Recommended: Yes Usage: Jennifer has used this item for about a week. Pros: it makes my skin feel smooth and clean Cons: none Bottom Line: i love this product, easy to make and very effective, i dont have many pimples, just one or two, occassionally, but i wanted to try something that would reduce any redness or blemishes on my face, or just give me an even tone. Pros: Works and is really cheap!! Cons: Smells Bottom Line: It works quickly. Mix up the crushed asprin and honey exfoliate skin as you put it on.. leave it on for at least 15 minutes and wash off.. and its really cheap how can you go wrong?? Pros: Works fast Cons: made me sneeze alot when it dried out and started falling off Bottom Line: This is a very quick way to get rid of acne. The main ingredient that fights acne is ofcourse sylicilic acid, when you mix water into it, it undergoes hydrolosis and sylicilic acid is formed. I usually leave it on for thirty minutes and just wash it off. It reduces the redness and size dramatically. Recommended: Yes Usage: Reviewer has used this item for about a week. Pros: Cheap (works out to about $0.10 per mask for 50 masks!), easy to use, only two ingredients (aspirin and honey) Bottom Line: I don't get severe breakouts but it seems like I ALWAYS have a pimple or two on my 36 year-old face. First I wash my face with Eucerin Hydrating Cleanser, then I use two uncoated aspirin (I get it for $0.99/100 tablets at Walgreens) and a couple of drops of water to disintegrate them, then add about a teaspoon of honey. I mix it all up, slap it on my face, let it sit for about 15 minutes, and wet my hands before gently rubbing the mask around to exfoliate. I use a gentle oil-free moisturizer afterward. I do this every other night for my oily and flaky skin. I find that whenever I stop using this mask, my skin goes back to feeling rough, sort of bumpy and dull. It does take a little extra effort to put the mask together but it's worth the time. However, I'm going to see if a bigger batch of it can be made at once instead of having to make a new mask every time I need it. Overall, I really recommend this mask. It's a skin-saver for me!
