Pros More even-toned skin, softer, smoother and reduces redness.
Cons A little drying, but my skin is dry to begin with. Nothing a little Olay moisturizer won't fix.
Bottom line About two months ago I started getting these little blemishes on my forehead and my cheeks...nothing seemed to work until I sucked it up and tried doing this. Once a day I take 4-5 little uncoated tablets (I got like...a billion of them at CVS for $7), mix them up into a paste with some hot water. Then, I mix it with my Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and wash my face with it for about two minutes. Don't SCRUB! Very gentle rubbing is best. It's been about three days so far, and I'm happy to say that those little forehead/cheek blemishes are almost all gone! After, I use some Olay Complete Moisture Lotion with SPF 15 - Sensitive Skin....and my face is starting to look normal again! I haven't used it as a mask yet, but perhaps I'll try it one day!

Pros Smooth skin, less oil, smaller pimples
Cons Dryness
Bottom line I needed a beter moisturiser because around my mouth was a bit dry [I have combination skin]. Other than that, this works great! I tried it yesterday and left it on for 10 minutes. I mix 3 aspirins with a bit of water to make it into a paste and add some aloe vera [straight from the plant! aloe vera stinks :P] Today, I left it on for nearly an hour and it's great!!! I'm going to do the mask 2-3 times a week but I just had to try it again today because I felt that I left it on too short yesterday.
Try it for yourself!!

Pros very effective and safe.
Cons can be messy, but it is not bad if you mix it with a bit of honey rather than using just using the aspirin and water mixture
Bottom line Thanks to a new medicine I had to start 3 months ago, my skin reacted in a horrible acneform rash. white heads, cysts, flaky skin, you name it - it was BAD. Ive had good skin before this, so it was a shock to say the least.
After trying every product possible, I decided to try the aspirin mask, thinking there is no way this could get worse so why not. I use this each morning before my shower (because as i said my skin is flaky so i have to remove the dead cells or my pores will clog) and Differin at night.
So now, a month after starting the mask (and 2 after the Differin) my skin is mostly back to normal. I know the Differin helps but I really feel like the aspirin mask has helped to speed up the process as I saw a major improvement within a week of using this daily. My red marks are almost gone, and I have no new zits.
This keeps my skin feeling so soft and refreshed I cant believe it.
The difference between a month ago and today is 90% better. i LOVE the aspirin mask!

Pros It really does make your face a lot smoother and it reduces the visibility of scars and such over a short period of usage.
Cons None really, besides if you use the mask too often it may cause your face to be really dry. But do remember to always use a moisterizer afterwards.
Bottom line Basically the aspirin and honey mixed together takes of a thin layer of your skin each time you wash it off which is why you shouldn't over use the mask. I wouldn't recommend using it more than once a day and I would start off by using the mask every other night. I also don't leave the mask on for long unless I get lazy. The approx. time I leave it on is for about 15 minutes. Using this mask has improved my skin by far, and I'm really glad I learned about it. I wish I would have found out about this mask sooner though!

Pros Softens skin, reduces redness and pimple size, improved texture.
Cons None I've found yet
Bottom line I had a horrible breakout a few weeks ago - large cystic acne across my forehead, down my temples and on my cheeks. I used the aspirin mask (6-8 aspirin mixed with honey and aloe) for three days in a row, and I am astonished by the results. The pimples are now tiny, dry and barely visible, and my skin tone has evened out significantly. My typically very oily skin is also far less oily. I love this recipe and intend to keep it up!

Bottom line After using Retin-A and Differin for a year to clear up some serious acne (it really took about a year) I have been trying to get rid of some of the scarring and red marks. I have gotten chemical peels, and lasers done, and while those have helped a little, nothing has worked as well as the aspirin mask. The strange thing is, even normal sacylic acid hasn't been helpful, it is just too drying and makes my skin feel funny. I still have a little acne, and it cleared that up, and has evened out my skin tremendously. It is starting to fade some of the redmarks, and I have only used it four days in a row! It also is not painful compared to lasers and chemical peels, and best of all...it's sooo much cheaper! Please try this!!!

Pros Cheap and easy to use and apply
Cons The ONLY one I can think of is when the mask hardens, anytime I open my mouth to talk little bits of aspirin fall off. But that's it! :)
Bottom line I have a big event to go to TONIGHT and I had the two biggest pimples. I just happened to come across this page by chance, I did it, and the pimples are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller now! I didn't add the honey; instead I just crushed up a couple aspirin pills, added some hot water, rubbed on my face, and let dry for about half an hour. The pimples are pretty much gone now! Thank you to whoever came up with this idea!
