Aspirin Mask Reviews

I stumbled upon this Aspirin Mask idea here on Acne.org a few days ago. I have been doing the mask (4 Bayer aspirins, disolved with a few drops of hot water and then applied in circles to the face, letting it sit for 1 hour then washing it off with water) for the past three days now. I CAN'T BELIEVE how GREAT this is !!
1) My old acne red spots are fading
2) My skin looks so smooth
3) My pores are so tiny
4) I usually have to blot my oily face several times during the day...now I really don't have to blot, just maybe my forehead. But I used to get oily by about 10am (after doing make-up at 8:30am) and I am amazed that my face is beautifully matte throughout the day.

i have been doing this treatment for about a week now. i had a major breakout within days of my first try, but am being persisitent realizing that it is just naturally coming up to the surface with my pores being cleaned deeply. (so i am told) my skin is much tighter and pores seem smaller. skin is soft too. oil is under control for much of the day. i am hoping it can help fade some signs on my cheeks of teenage acne 15+ years ago. anyone have any luck fading acne scars over time by being religious with the acne mask treatment?

This really worked!! I'm amazed at how soft my skin is! I massaged it into my skin for about 2 minutes in a circular motion, then left it on for 15 minutes. It exfoliated very well and sloughed away any dry skin and flakes that I had.

I had a hyge cyst on my chin and after seeing this message board last night I tried it today just over my lunch break. I just took a couple asprin and put a couple drops of water on it, put it on my skin, let it dry, and then did it again but left the original mask intact. Then I washed everything off with a bowl of salt h2o after leaving it on for 15 mins. This really really works! The size of the cyst reduced dramatically. I have never, ever seen something like this happen before. Just make sure you don't scrub your skin too hard after - it will get infected. Try it!

Who knew aspirin would make my face so smooth...thanks guys for the ultimate advice...it really reduce the size of the pimples ...I did the mask and after i put lemon juice on the zits...SUPER, try it

I must say I am VERY impressed with the results of using Aspirin as a mask. As with anything out there, you have to be careful, don't put it in your eyes, slow down when applying it, it should be an enjoyable experience. Yes, use the Dollar Store brand, I crush a bunch in my LITTLE processor and put it in a Tupper bowl, and I mix some Vitamin C cystals with it (for cell turnover) and I keep it on my face for about 30 minutes. When it starts to dry, don't pick at it, it won't get into your eyes and nose, it's all common sense as to how to apply it. Sometimes when my skin needs extra calming, I use PLAIN yogurt, but not a lot. A lot would make it run. I love this. This mask made my skin smooth as a babies behind, I had 4 kids and my skin is like theirs now. Yes, I did break out with a few pus zits after for a couple of days, ya, I picked them (bad tracie bad Tracie) But after almost 2 weeks, I haven't had another breakout, and my skin is radiant and it is even and soft and clear. At night, I also purchased a bottle of CalMax powder and make a paste of that and I let it get really hard on my face (it's a thick paste I make it) and my wrinkles and I do have very little ones makes my skin tighter and smoother and the very light moisturizer I use, my face it 20 years younger and I am 32

how do you maek an aspirin mask. I have maybe 2 or three zits and the rest of my skin is smooth, but my cheeks are covered with red marks. Will this help reduce the red mark, and how long will it take before its completely gone? Someone please give me details on how to make this mask

I wanted to try this asprin mask, so I went to buy a bottle of Bayers, Asprin. I couldn't find the non-coated so I settled with coated tablets. It still worked! I put 4 tablets on the palm of my hand, add some water and watched it puff up and break apart. It got too pastey so I added some more water and scrubed it on my face. I noticed that it works better when you work it in circular motions. Then you let it dry for 7-10 mins later. Then rinse it off with warm water. The results are visible!!!!!! My skin is so damned balanced and firm. The reds have been reduced. It's even better putting moisturizer on face wrinkes (only on the wrinkles!). i kid you not my skin doesn't look as saggy anymore! I have NEVER gotten this kind of result from anything else. I have had combonation skin, and blackhead probs and this trick fixed my skin.

I use the aspirin mask this way: Mix 4-6 pills, few drops of witch hazel, small bit of neosporin, and the bp gel. I fall asleep with it but I'm sure a few minutes would work as well.

Results: The best skin I have had in 10 years!

Even the big pores of reocurring blackheads have closed up and no blackheads have grown back!

I've only been on it for a month and it has reduced red marks from old acne as well. I had clear skin up until my period. But thats normal for me. But now its back to clearing up again.
