hey everyone I totally understand what you maybe going through.... I had acne really really bad a couple years ago it was embarrassing to go anywhere see anyone and even look into the mirror it got in the way of me enjoying life. I swore that I tried everything out there...every product on every shelf in every store and it just made it worse...... When I was finally about to give up I found this easy to use remedy regular aspirin is a miracle for me. In a month my face was totally clear and on top of that blemished free anyone that wants clear skin again just take regular aspirin crunch about 3-4 up and mix with a little bit of water do not over do it on the water just make it wet enough to stick on your face.....apply to your face let it sit at least up to 30mins if you do this at night you can leave it on until it dries and go to sleep with it on.......you can also use it as a scrub just to clean your face....in just a few days you will see results I was amazed and hope you will be to.....
I'd like to help anyone out there suffering from acne because I know how it feels.....if you feel like there's not a chance of making it go away. try this....
luv, Megan

I tried it for the first time today, I dissolved 5 bayer asprins in some water, rubbed it on my skin and let it sit for 30 min. It felt really good and made my skin alot smoother, however my acne didn't seem to improve that dramatically. I'm not sure if I did it right because it didnt actually form a paste, it was more like a bunch of exfoliating beads. but I'm going to try it again and hopefully see my acne improve.

The aspirin mask fades red marks, exfoliates, reduces pore size, helps prevent breakouts, and leaves you with baby smooth skin.

I cleanse 2x daily with Purpose bar, followed by BP gel and Neutrogena Alpha Hydroxy lotion. Several evenings a week I apply the aspirin mask and on alternate evenings I apply a clay mask, which "vacuums" out the pores. The results are incredible and I used to be on Accutane for severe acne...live and learn.

Very effective! My 18 yr old daughter has added this to her nightly routine and the results have been amazing. She has oily skin & has been battling with persistent acne on forhead, chin and cheeks for about 5 years; a month after adding aspirin mask to her routine she is finally clearing up very quickly! No new blemishes, existing ones greatly reduced in size, old red marks fading noticebly. Overall her skin is soft and producing less oil!

AM: Washes with mild cleanser (Cetaphil)- Applies BP gel, followed by moisturizer (oil-free, SPF15)

PM: Washes with mild cleanser - applies aspirin mask for 15 minutes (exfoiliant) - follows w/BP gel - uses moisturizer at night only if her face feels too dry (not often!)

If you've tried everything else, I'd recommend giving the aspirin mask a try -- may be too harsh for some, but hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones! Good luck to all!

After reading the reviews for the asprin mask, I decided to try it, as I knew I had some asprin already, so it wouldn't waste any money (a very good thing, in my opinion), and I have tried pretty much everything else with minimal success. I have moderate acne, mostly in the cheeks and forehead, with occasional breakouts on the chin and big pores on my cheeks. I also have red marks, and since using the asprin mask I have seen massive improvements in the redness and size of the acne on my cheeks, where it is most prominant and a slight reduction in pore size. I only used it once, so using it again might help even more, which would be great. Using it in a circular motion is best and it is quite exfoliating. Using too much asprin, or too much water, or a combination of the two is a bad idea. Just use 3-4 Bayer asprins(the non-coated kind) and a few drops of water, which you can increase until the asprin dissolves. A great treatment for mild to moderate acne!

be careful salyclyc acid and aspirin containing materials can cause Reye's Syndrome, if you use salyclyc acid twice everyday, just think about how much stuff is being absorbed through?????

i just used the aspirin mask for the first time today after hearing about it from a friend. i mixed it with miracle whip (in case no one has heard of THAT recipe, there is one online that claims the vinegar in miracle whip really helps to smooth skin... just google it!)

i rubbed it in..circular motions.. and left it on for 10 minutes. i rinsed with warm water (had to really rinse to get off the granular feeling!), and then ended with a few splashes of cold water to close up pores. the miracle whip made my face really really smooth.. and the aspirin was very exfoliating. i had 2 pimples and already noticed their redness went down.

next time, i'll probably only use the aspirin for more of a scrub. i heard 3-5 is a good amount. i also heard to use every 3 or 4 days. i really think this could work... at least in reducing the size/color of existing blemishes.

does anyone know if the aspirin is readily absorbed into the bloodstream? if so, maybe i should cut back on the amount of pills

Asprin and salicylic acid come from the same thing, that's why it works (salix=willow, like the tree! interesting.)
