| Pros | It made my face amazingly soft and helped with my breakouts! |
|---|---|
| Cons | None really except when it started to dry it kind of flaked off on my clothes but no big deal. |
| Bottom line | I have only used it once and i absolutely loved it.My face felt sooo soft right after and still the next morning. Also a few of my breakouts had reduced in size(AWESOME)and looked less red. Also i think its cool to mix it with other things but i just kept it simple asprin and water.I took about 15 tablets crushed them up and added 4 or 5 drops of water and it made the perfect paste. One question for anyone should i apply this everyday or like once a week? |

| Pros | Cheap, Quick, Easy to apply, Very effective |
|---|---|
| Cons | None at all, could be too drying for sensitive skin. |
| Bottom line | This has worked really well for me. I now use it almost daily to keep my complection under control. I just crush up 6-8 dispersible aspirin tablets, mix a few drops of water at a time until I have a paste, then I spread it carefully over the problem areas (forehead, cheeks and chin) then I carefully and slowly rub it in. I allow it to dry for about 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water (don't scrub off). The main thing I've noticed is that any small bumps under the skin are greatly reduced or completely disappear, redness goes down, my skin is much less oily afterwards and my skin feels fresh and smooth. Even on active spots, the infalmmation and overall size is reduced until they quickly dry up and peel off. All in all this is the most effective method of acne treatment I've found and it's so cheap. I don't find it too overdrying, but it probably would be for people with really sensitive skin or people who use a lot of BP gel. |

| Pros | Smooth, soft skin decreases size of cystic acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | breaking down the asprin pills worth the results though |
| Bottom line | This is amazing and so cheap! I wish I had given it a try a year ago when my adult cystic acne began to surface; then I would not have some of the ice pick scars. In the begining I used it every day especialy on active acne and to my surprise it shrunk it in size healed it and left no scar! I would alternate the mask with water, honey or a gentle cleanser. Left it on for 15 min.I always moisturized my skin with jojoba oil afterwards. The asprin may dry your skin a bit and you don't want oil production to increase on your face so the jojoba oil(very little) would keep my face balanced. I saw improvements the very next day. GIve it a try. I have tried so many product out there and drastically chaned my eating habits but nothing is as consistant and provided positive results as the ASPRIN MASK. |

| Pros | it really makes my skin incredibly soft and shrinks my pores!!! takes away those little surface bumps and keeps my skin from breaking out. |
|---|---|
| Cons | it makes you sneeze!!! |
| Bottom line | i love this stuff!!! after everything i have used on my skin, this is the only thing that has worked from day 1. i use 7 non coated aspirins with about 2 or 3 drops of water and 3 drops of honey. leave on for 30 minutes and there you go soft clear skin and then when i wake up it looks amazing. the best thing i have used on my skin. and i can get like 50 tablets of aspirin for like 96 cents!!! |

| Pros | soft and smooth skin that I haven't seen in over ten years of trying everything else. |
|---|---|
| Cons | none that I've come across yet. |
| Bottom line | I have suffered from a very severe form of acne for years now and nothing has worked with much consistency. The RX's out there just wouldn't work. I came across this when researching black eye cures for a friend and decided to try it. My skin hasn't looked this good in over ten years! I vary of my mixture from what I've read...I use castor oil, honey, flax seed, and mix these with the aspirin. I found that the most pleasant result came from crushing the aspirin and flax seed using a mortar and pestle then adding in the "wet" ingredients in equal pasts. It's great and none drying when mixed with the caster oil (which is packed with omega 3 and 6). Bottom line, if you are like me... there wasn't anything else that worked... what do you have to lose but the blemishes?? |

| Pros | makes skin extremely soft, your skin glows when taking it off, doubles as an exfoliating scrub when rinsing it off, reduces redness. reasonable price. |
|---|---|
| Cons | none that i can think of right now. |
| Bottom line | I have suffered from acne since i was 12, I am 18 now and I have tried anything from laser acne treatmens, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, proactive, retin-a, benzaclin, just everything, and I have spent a lot of money on those too. THIS REALLY WORKS. I was skeptical at first but now that i tried it, i'm satisfied. My skin feels softer, and it looks brighter. I've only used it once so I have not seen scarring fade away yet. This is how I prepared mine: I took about 10-15 coated asipirins (works the same as uncoated) and half a teaspoon of water. I let the water dissolve the aspirin in to a thick but smooth consistancy, and I added a little squirt of my favorite mouisturizer, which is from Bellederm. remember ADD THE WATER BEFORE CRUSHING. It makes it so much easier to crush. The just spread all over your face, and if done correctly, it wont flake away, it simply stays in place. Then, exfoliate when washing off after 30 minutes. Hope this helps you! |

| Pros | dries out my zits in a span of 1 week and cleared my skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | can be very drying |
| Bottom line | I used 6 Aspirins dissolved in few drops of water, then i dab some hydrogen peroxide after washing my face from the solution. I do this every night, and sometime in the morning if I don't go out in the sun. After a week or so, i did see amazing results as first witnessed by my dad's officemate. |

| Pros | you can easily test it on one hand compared to the other before on face-as with any mask. skin is very soft and helps acne. with regular use i actually get compliments about my skin and questions as to how i got it that way. not to forget super cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | if not used to your skin being red for about 15 min afterwards... |
| Bottom line | if u r not a chemist, don't make this complicated. any non-coated asprin should suffice. be careful of what you mix the crushed aspirin with. best to use water first. i use cetaphil cleanser. works wonders. on uncoated aspirin you can place one to two drops of water on an individual pill and it should easily break apart. |

| Pros | I CURED my cystic acne through a special preparation sequence involving extraction of pure aspirin crystals and addition of those crystals to neutrogena body wash as a viscous base. |
|---|---|
| Cons | This preparation is extremely harsh and not for everyone. The skin on my hands peeled off several times due to it. This has potential for liver and kidney toxicity due to the high concentrations of aspirin. Don't get it in your eyes! |
| Bottom line | I use a technique called recrystalization to actually extract pure aspirin crystals from tablets. I had a lot of trouble finding a base to add these to since the crystals make virtually everything extremely watery. I finally did find a base - neutrogena oil free body wash - which does not grow watery with addition of the crytals. The wash, which I use daily, has virtually elimiated my acne. I had cystic acne before, and now I have virtually clear skin. Why this is not a commercial product is a mystery to me. In any case, the mixture contains approximately 50 to 90 percent aspirin crytals. I am not overly concerned about liver or kidney toxicity because I think that the chemicals probably do not enter my bloodstream to a large extent. This formulation is extremely harsh. You should wear gloves when applying it to your face (My hands have actually peeled due to the drying). I think there are a lot of chemicals that can cure acne. This is one of them. |
