Pros:Cheap, easy and it works!
Bottom Line:I alternate between the asprin mask and the refining mask by proactive. The asprin mask gives me good results the next day, as I have noticed that the color of my acne scars are fading and my breakout cycle has slowed down. I am going to try the asprin mask with honey and vinegar next!

Pros:Smaller pores, most blackheads disappeared or shrunk, recent red acne scars faded, zits healed! Its cheaper than anything I have ever used.
Cons:As it dries if you move around it starts to flake off and it stings if it gets in your eyes.
Bottom Line:First I wash my face, then I mix about 5 or 6 tablets non-coated aspirin tablets with several drops of water (enough to make a think paste) and leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it and swab my face with a daily pore toner, and moisturize with Olay total effects. The results were almost instant for me. There was a huge difference within 24 hours. And within 48 hours my scars have started to fade.

Bottom Line:Stupid me - I popped a HUGE painful whitehead on my lower cheek last night. I ended up doing some minor surgery when I discovered a SECOND smaller whitehead inside it, so needless to say this zit turned into a flaming red open wound on my face. 3% hydrogen peroxide turned the whole thing WHITE which looked even worse, so I scratched it off and slathered it in neosporin. By morning, there was a black scab on top of it.

Tonight I smashed up 10 uncoated aspirin tablets and used just a few drops of water, leaving it on for 30 minutes. Umm - WOW. The wound, which had closed halfway during the day today, is now completely closed, but no scabbing whatsoever. It HEALED. The redness faded DRAMATICALLY - it is now less red than some of my healing scars. It looks like a measley pink mark on my face - it's unbelievable that this was a huge open crater just hours ago. I cannot believe the difference this has made. My skin feels insanely soft and my pores are invisible. Try this.

Pros:Really cheap and it worked pretty fast

Bottom Line:I woke up one morning with really ugly bumps on my face and it's not acne, they're not even red, they're just a bunch of bumps even on my forehead, so I panicked and tried washing my face several times daily, nothing works, and I found this article and comments about the aspirin mask so I went to the store and bought a bottle with 100 tablets for $1.99. I put on the mask as soon as I got home and then once more before I went to bed, when I woke up in the morning, my face was back to the way it was, smooth and flawless, so now I am gonna be using this everyday. If you're gonna try it, just don't forget to put on moisturizer because it can be a bit drying.

Bottom Line:My pores have NEVER been smaller!
Since the original aspirin mask dried out my skin a bit too much, I crushed up 3 aspirin with about a tablespoon of honey (a natural humectant) and VIOLA! PERFECT SKIN.

I have tried EVERYTHING. To think that a two dollar bottle of aspirin and a honey bear were all I needed!

Whoa! Holy crap! I've always been kinda embarresed to ask my parents to get me acne medication and so I was searching for something I could do myself. Lo and behold I found this :D! I've been doing this for about 2 weeks, and my pimples are so much smaller and less red. It's not an instant treatment, but be persistant and your skin will look sooo much better. It helps a lot too that my skin is now as soft as a baby's ass!
