Pros Works, doubles as a scrub
Cons Difficult to pulverize aspirin and get water ratio right.
Bottom line Try mixing in a bit of honey. This will keep it from flaking off and getting up your nose.

Pros Works wonders on your skin and it's very cheap and effective
Cons None
Bottom line It's the best thing I've used so far for my skin. I suffer from acne and this cleared it up in about a week. It makes my skin not look so oily and I don't usually have redness afterwards. This is better than anything a doctor can prescribe for you!

Bottom line Aspirin works because some acne is caused by staph. The salicylic acid kills the staph.

Pros Only thing that works!!!
Cons None, except flakes off and makes you sneeze
Bottom line My skin literally cleared up in a day. My pores are smaller and my skin just looks cleaner. I have only tried aspirin and water.

I only had moderate problems with my skin, but I had tried other products, including prescriptions and nothing has worked as well as this.

Also, I have really sensitive skin and I have had no problems with irritation.

Pros The speed of results - the next day it is clearly visible any change it has made
Cons May not work too well for people with really sensitive skin
Bottom line I knew Aspirin was made of salicylic acid which is an agent needed to move deep down in the pores to dry out/kill bacteria, and I'd heard of benefits of mixing it with SD 40% Alcohol to beat acne. However, last week I just decided to disolve 2 aspirin with a few drops of witch hazel and mix with my normal facial wash gel, using circular movements. I've been doing it for one week now, and my face is so much clearer. My acne was quite painful and red, and though it only occurs in certain area's, it's persistent and aggressive looking. For one week now, I have had no bumps on my face, and little ones that try to rise are so dry, they flake off to nothing. I do my regime morning and night and also do a honey mask on its own once a week to rejuvinate my skin with antioxidants. My skin is just glowing, I love it!!

Pros cheap, makes skin soft, reduces redness
Cons none, except if you accidentally touch your face when the mask is on, you get little grainy flakes on everything
Bottom line I have a ton of acne and have had it for over 7 years now. A few weeks ago, I looked up the aspirin mask and the ingredients and decided what the heck. Wow. In just two weeks, my skin looks so much better. I had gone home mid-August, pre aspirin mask, and returned last weekend, where my family noticed a huge difference. My skin feels so much better, looks more even, and reduces zit size. I just take three non-coated aspirin in a soup spoon, add a dime size amount of honey, and a few drops of water, wait for it to dissolve and put it on my face. I leave it on for about 15 minutes and then exfoliate it off. I do this every 2 to 3 days in place of my usual cleanser at night.

Pros It's cheap, effective, easy, and very accessible.
Cons It turned my face red and it has an unpleasant, grainy consistency.
Bottom line I used this for the first yesterday. I was skeptical but decided I had nothing to lose. I crushed 6 generic, non-coated aspirin in a bowl and mixed it with about half a tablespoon of water. It made just enough paste to cover my face. It felt grainy and had an uneven consistency. Next time, I'll try to find another way to crush the aspirin. I applied the paste to my face and left it on for 10 minutes, as this was my first time and I wasn't sure how my face would react. I found the mixture hard to wash off, and when it was all gone, I still felt like there was a residue left. My face also felt dry. My face was very red and I could tell where the larger chunks of the mixture was because that area was more aggravated. I washed my face with my normal face wash, used my toner, and applied a moisturizer. My face felt softer after my normal routine and blemishes were smaller, but the redness remained for quite some time. If you're trying this for the first time, do it before bed.

Pros Made my skin super smooth. Reduced redness and seems to be healing to existing acne.
Cons none
Bottom line This is by no means a miracle mask but you can definitely see improvement after the first mask. I take between 5-10 aspirin tablets with a few drops of water and let them dissolve. I then mix in a little honey for the hydrating effects and because honey contains glycolic acid, and also some sour cream because it contains lactic acid. Yogurt works too, I just figured sour cream probably has more lactic acid in it since it has been soured. I then leave it on for 30 minutes and then gently exfoliate as I remove it. Try it, you will fall in love with it too!
