Pros It didn't irritate my skin.
Cons Well, I tried it a few times and I never saw any improvement.
Bottom line It's possible that it would work if I could manage to keep it on for longer. But as it is, it's so flaky that it falls off just from moving around.

Pros Definitely reduces roughness of acne, makes it much smoother. I also think it wore down my acne scars after one night. Think of what will happen after using it more often!
Cons Crushing the acne wasn't really a con. It was kind of fun, haha.
Bottom line I'll give detailed steps on how to do it here since it doesn't really say.

1.) Get around 7 aspirin. I use coated because it's all I have. I think either will work, but the coating does get a bit clumpy.
2. Get it into a fine powder. I used the edge of a ceramic coaster to crush it.. whatever works for you.
3. Squirt some aloe into the aspirin powder.
4. Use your finger and apply it all over your face.
5. Let it dry for ~20 minutes and rub it off in circles.

My aloe has lidocaine and menthol in it so it feels really good to use! Aloe is a natural skin repairer so.. it's a win-win.

Pros After using it my face became noticeably softer. I think it also stopped my small pimples from being too big. Thumbs up!!
Cons The smell is awful but I got used to it. I tried using honey and w/o using it. Honey definitely comes in handy. It prevents the aspirin from coming off and it also prevents sneezing!

Pros This mask is awesome! gets rid of pimples very fast, and fades red marks and scars!
Cons none- you could complain about mixing it and the time you have to wait, but who cares if its this good!
Bottom line I've had acne for about 3 years.. and i've tried every single thing there is- trust me. I just started Roaccutane which is my last hope at a long term cure. My doc said i would get an initial flare up (badly) but the same night i started using the Roaccutane, i started using this mask and my skin is getting clearer not worse! amazing, just try it :p

Pros It works!
Cons It's flaky and it makes me sneeze.
Bottom line Since there is no "cure" yet, there are obviously no miracles, but this made SUCH a difference in my skin. I didn't notice any change right away - that took about a week and I really only do it twice a week, but my skin is very soft and clear right now and it hadn't been for several months. I feel like it may fade previous red acne spots as well. I had one of those deep, long-lasting zits for about two months and this finally got rid of it.

I crush up the aspirin mix it in baby cream and apply it every night before I go to bed. After a couple of days my skin was cleared up ... it's awesome!

Pros cheap, effective, simple to use, very portable and good for travelling, calms down pimples
Cons a little messy
Bottom line I found that this actually softens my skin and isn't that drying. I use it alone (about 5 uncoated pills mixed with water) or add a little bit of honey or Cetaphil moisturizer for sticking power. Sometimes I add cinnamon which I heard is good for acne as (it actually stings). I leave it on anywhere from 5-30 minutes a few times a week then use it as a scrub while rinsing. You don't need to use facewash .

Since using it, I've had very few large pimples or ones that come to a head. In combination with facials and some diet changes, I think my adult acne is finally under control! Maybe it's the change in weather, but I think my face is less oily too.

Pros Affordable
Bottom line I've heard a lot about this mask. Previously I've crushed antibiotic pills for acne that my derm prescribed, as coated pills often drain the effects of medication when dissolved in your system.
I prefer crushing the aspirin before adding water etc so it serves as a mask when you exfoliate it off your skin. I use the mask regularly but often don't see much of a difference. I'm hoping it kicks in in the long run though, considering all the great reviews. I have found that it is consistent is keeping pimples from getting worse, but doesn't really reduce the effects for me.
