Pros: works well; pretty natural too; loses the redness, makes ur skin feel fresh Cons: kind of dries up ur skin unlesss you use a good moistruizer! Bottom Line: well ive only used it once, but it does dry up ur skin alot. make sure u put a hot towel on ur face before making the mask (i make mines with aloe vera & aspirin). , and PUT LOTION ON AFTER you've left it on for 15 mintues, or else youll wake up dry as anythinggggggggg. my skin type is combination oily; dry on my cheeks, oily in my t zonee! $6.00 for ALOE VERA GEL &&& ASPIRIN. Pros: Use with honey and b5 and your skin will feel vibrant and soft. Seems to calm existing acne and irritation while preventing new breakouts Cons: None Bottom Line: Out of everything I've tried and am currently using (have done every prescription prescribed to males, including accutane 3 times), this is my favorits treatment. I use it as a scrub/wash/mask first thing in the morning. Puts your skin is a beautiful state that allows a more healing environment. No dryness, no oiliness, just soft vibrant, skin. I'd do it morning and night, but I don't want to risk overdoing it and have such a wonderful treatment quit working because of it. Pros: totally reduces redness, swelling, pain, associated with breakouts Cons: kinda messy but well worth it Bottom Line: mixed a few aspirin tablets a few drops of water and some honey in a ziploc baggy. if you mix it with your fingers outside of the bag it dissolves super fast. Pros: It reduces swelling, redness and bumps Cons: A little difficult to crush (if you don't have the right tools), a bit hard to apply if you use too much or too little water, can dry out skin if using water. Bottom Line: I haven't really started doing it consistently, but every time I've tried this it's worked wonderfully. After leaving the mask on for about 10 minutes, I immediately notice that individual zits are much smaller and redness is reduced overall. The effects are noticeable for up to a week after treatment. I am confident that if I begin daily treatments, my skin will be completely clear within the next couple of weeks. I use the aspirin face mask in addition to the following skin care regiment (which I go through twice daily): Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Stress Control Neutrogena on the spot Acne Treatment Nivea Creme I am thinking of using aloe vera gell in the face mask instead of water, in order to further reduce any drying that might occur. Pros: Makes your skin really smooth, more so if you use it with honey. It seems to give my face a glow. Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid. On our face wash, we see is just salicylic acid, which is an active ingredient to fight acne Cons: kind of messy to use but worth it Bottom Line: Its cheap, easy to make, gives your face a nice smooth glow.
