Pros: really cheap, really effective Cons: a little messy Bottom Line: i tried the aspirin mask out because i had tried several different facewashes without success, as well as even prescribed medication. i found that the mask has worked fantastically. i do it about three times a week. and it's been about two weeks since i started, and the majority of my acne is gone. highly recommend this. but don't over do it, especially around sensitive regions. cuz i did experience some dry skin under the nose. Pros: Cheap..if done ight,and not too much..very effective. Cons: sensiive skin may not tolerate it well..a bit messy. Bottom Line: It is actually a good mask...however,I used it with water...and 2% glycolic acid...and nothing to moisterize my skin whilst exfoliating it off...and resulted in really dry skin... I did it again,the following day...and left it on fr 25 mins...I rinsed it off...and I had a hive like reult on my face...maybe because I scrubbed too hard? maybe because of the glycolic acid...whatever the ase,I will be steering clear from it a while. Pros: Cheap. Reduces redness( turns skin white) easy to use. adding honey moisturises Cons: Dont think it helps to stop blemishes coming, just helps to heal Bottom Line: I have been using this treatment for about a week. Morning and night and leaving it on my skin for about an hour. It reduces redness instantly, and kinda turns the red spot to white. But after a few hours the redness comes back a little, but keep using it and I think it helps to heal quicker. I crush 6 aspirins, add a few drops of water, and half teaspoon of honey. The honey moisturises and stops the mask from drying and flaking off. apply with finger tips and leave for about an hour. It cheap, so give it a try. Pros: acne was not as red. Cons: slightly stung me. almost hurt to wash off. Bottom Line: I actually JUST got done washing the aspirin off my face and I can say right now, it kind of stings. I must say though, that the few pimples I have on my face are actually not as red and I have only used the aspirin idea once. Pros: very cheap, instant results, reduces any redness, leaves skin feeling smooth - easy to do Cons: makes you sneeze a bit when it dries and the bits fall off! Bottom Line: i've tried everything under the sun and can't believe i haven't discovered this earlier - it really works, it's so cheap to do and it's better than any face mask or toning product o've found before Recommended: Yes Usage: karen has used this item for a day or two. Pros: None Cons: This mask made me break out in the worst cystic acne I've ever had. Nothing will clear it up. Pros: Really makes the large inflamed cysts go down in size. Takes redness away. Cons: messy, Takes time to mix. Bottom Line: I disolve 3 aspirin in a few drops on water and then add a capsule of niacinamide ( the kind you just open and pour the med out) with a teaspoon of oil free moisturizer and i leave it on all night every night. I have very oily skin so it doesnt dry me out too bad. (This may not work for people that dont have oily skin.) I have the large cystic type acne that are deep under the skin and this will lessen the size of them by morning. However i feel that this is a treatment for existing acne It doesnt prevent it. Pros: This made my skin so smooth i have only used it once but im going to try again in a few days Cons: My skin felt a little to tight when i washed it of but as soo as i put moisturises on it was back to normal and felt amazing and refreshed Bottom Line: This is good to use if you have tried lots of thing in the past and nothing has worked.It smells kind of weird but its worth it.I would definatly say that if your getting down about your skin and spots you should give the mask ago because its not expensive just mush up a few asprins or paracetomals and add abit of water and thats it.Put it on and leave for 10-15 mins and wash of.But make sure u moisturise soon afterwards otherwise you skin ends up dry and itchy trust me i should know.I used it about 30 mins ago and i luv it. Pros: Makes your pores smaller Cons: Its a pain to crush up the pills! Bottom Line: Crush them in a bowl then add water and apply it with a Q-tip and leave it on until it fakes off and your skin will much more even toned and zits with shrink!
