Adapalene (Differin) Reviews

I tried this.. I got an initial improvement, but it lasted for a few days. My acne went right back to where it was.

It took about 5 weeks for me to see clear improvement, so be patient. I recommend the cream, which is less drying than the gel.

I've been using differin since august 2004 and there is an improvemenet but not a great one! I have red blotchy skin now and still have acne! I take tetralysal (lymecycline) tablets also and i dont see a very big improvement :( !

First I have a question about Differin. I used it for 9 months and it cleared my acne significantly but my face stays so red now. Is this normal, and how long should my face stay red now that im off Differin???? Thanks for any replies!!!!

I've been on Differin for 2 years now, the treatment worked for the first year, but now I have worse pimples than I ever have before, and when I clear them up they come right back!

Been on Differin for 4 weeks and I've never had such bad skin, I'm debating whether to give in another week or just stop now and hope that the Dianette I've been on for a week kicks in soon.

On the plus side (the reason I gave it 2) is that it cleared my back and chest within 3 weeks. Couple of spots on back but nothing too bad.

I have been using Diffren for almost 2 months and my acne is worse then ever. I am constantly breaking out in areas that I never did before. I don't think the doctor reolizes how hard it is to "just get through the first few weeks".

I have been using Differin for just over 7 weeks now and I have seen no improvement what so ever. My skin is worse then when I started. I don't recommend this product to anyone.

it worked miracles for me from like weeks 1-3 then i broke out really bad. but the few first weeks my face was like crystal clear and i didnt even wear make up every one was complimenting. anyways so i am now on accutane cuz then all the sudden i had horribble breakout. i have been on accutane for one month now and at first i kept getting lots of breakouts and i am starting to see the breakouts stop atleast and some acne is going away. but it does make the zits more red, so i get spray tans and i can swim in florida now without worrying about red bumps on my face. by the way my acne is moderate and i do not have any cysts this is just a last resorts for perfect skin, so i dont know your experience will be breakouts for the first two months and worse breakouts than me if your acne is more severe, just hang in there cuz it all pays off after about 4-6 months!

I have rosy cheeks and I went to a dermotologist about them. I dont have acne or pimples. She perscribed me differin but I am affrid of the side affects. what do you guys think? do you think I will still get the itchyness or redness if I use it? do you think it could help my face?
