| Pros: | supposedly when you use it regularly it works amazing but since i was a bit inconsistent and impatient i dont think i really got the full effect |
| Cons: | i was all excited to start cuz i've heard great things but missed the part where it says it gets worse before it gets better. and BAD did it get i stopped using it and have been trying to clear my skin ever since |
| Bottom Line: | give it a try dont give up after a few weeks. it gets worse before it gets better, i'm about to try again and hopefully if i stick to it i'll get better results |

| Pros: | it cleared up all the pimles on my forehead and some of the ones on my cheeks. |
| Cons: | i use it only at night. it takes alot of time to clear spots.i also use it with zineryt so im not so sure how it would work by itself. |
| Bottom Line: | it doesnt completely stop break-outs but it has helped reduce them. |

| Pros: | Worked very well in conjunction with a daily regimen of Benzaclin. |
| Cons: | My skin became slightly more photosensitive during treatment, but no big deal. As with any other topical treatment I've tried, my skin eventually became acclimated to this product and it lost its effectiveness. |
| Bottom Line: | Worth a try! |

| Pros: | Only thing that ever made my skin clear and stay clear. Evened out skin tone Easy to apply (just don't miss a dose or you could be back to square one!) |
| Cons: | Takes a long time to work, but it is soooo worth it! |
| Bottom Line: | I’ve been on Differin for nearly 6 months now. First of all, let me start off by telling you my background. I’m 29 years old and have noticed acne forming around my chin and neckline. The rest of my face is relatively clear. I decided that I needed to go on prescription strength acne medication because my chin and neck seemed to be breaking out a lot more. The more I read about it, the more I learned that this type of acne develops due to a hormonal imbalance. I always seemed to break out about a week or so prior to my menstrual cycle. I would say that I experienced anywhere from mild to moderate acne since I was in high school and I have really oily skin. I never experienced acne like this before though. Before, it was always on my face rather than around my neckline.
I personally didn’t have a problem with dry skin, but I always used a moisturizer (Cetaphil). I also used Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser because it had a less drying effect than other cleansers on |

| Pros: | Reduces redness, seems to work |
| Cons: | - Expensive - Causes peeling first week - Runs out fast if you use it for a large area like the back or chest |
| Bottom Line: | A dermo put me on Differin (the cream version) at night and Benzaclin in the morning. I'm not sure which one is doing more, but my face and back acne look better.
I didn't have amazing results the first few days like some people; instead, it's been a slow and steady improvement over the past two weeks. I've had only two new pimples on my face since I've started. The red spots on my cheeks have faded considerably... only to reveal dozens of icepick scars :(
Without insurance, Differin is $145.00. Thank God my insurance works for this! |

| Pros: | Definitely reduces the size of pimples. Did not have any reaction, no redness, no flakey skin. Felt very clean and made my face beautiful and for the most part acne free. |
| Cons: | Took a long time to get to where I am today. |
| Bottom Line: | It works! For real I had it bad! The first thing I used to help my face was Proactive Solution (HUGE MISTAKE) you know maybe that stuff works on some people but I really doubt it works on a lot because it made my face even worse uh!!! But then after I went to a dermatologist he told me to go on differin..so I did! Let me just say woah! It was awesome, I don't really remember how long it took for my face to get cleared but it really did work I was soooo HAPPY and satisfied with the results...but then (here comes my biggest regret EVER!) I stopped using it because I thought I would be okay without it..ha bad idea..after about 2 or 3 months after i had stopped wow it got so bad!! i mean bad bad i hated myself because i stopped using it...so I went back and got on it again and it seriously took about 6 months for my face to get cleared again. That was a really long time but it works..and I do have very sensitive skin..worked for me. Now I am happy as ever!!! |

| Pros: | make skin smooth |
| Cons: | Brings out all the hidden acne to the surface. I have been on differin for 8 weeks and it has brought out acne that I never had on my forehead and cheeks and chin. I must say after 8 weeks the right side of my face is clear. Just waiting for the rest |
| Bottom Line: | Hang in there. It does get worse before it gets better. Just think the extra bumps are temporary and clear smooth skin is about to emerge. |

| Pros: | It seems to work for *most* people who give it time. |
| Cons: | Doesn't work for everybody, seems to have annoying side effects for most people, expensive in most countries. |
| Bottom Line: | I have used Differin for 4 months now, which is longer than the packaging suggests it will take to get results. While I don't deny that my skin has improved, it took about 3 months to make a 10% or so improvement.
I've started using azelaic acid with the Differin, and it has helped a lot. My skin is maybe 35% better now, which is a start.
I'll be honest, I'm not really happy. For 4 months, I expected it to have made a huge difference. Instead, I still get acne frequently (even with the antibiotics that I'm on), and my skin complexion has worsened slightly since taking this medication.
I am in the minority here, but Differin gives me really oily skin. I've never had oily skin before, but now my skin is terribly oily. Most people report it drying their skin, but not me.
It's expensive for most people, but it's subsidised here in New Zealand. Give it a try, but if you don't see any improvement within 4 months, it's unlikely that this product will be of any us |

| Pros: | Differin seems to be working really well. it reduced the size of breakouts within the first week and things seemed to be almost flawless by the third week of use. |
| Cons: | made skin pretty dry with a little redness and sensitivity. |
| Bottom Line: | I've been using differin with benzaclin for about a month now. I'm not totally sure which is making the differnce but my skin looks great and i love it! |

| Pros: | seems to make the redness go away from patches acne seems to get better especially a cyst i had |
| Cons: | i used it during the beginning of the school year and it made my face super red so i stopped using it but ive been using it for about two weeks now with antibiotics and so far so good |
| Bottom Line: | good product and in the long run seems like i wont have acne flair ups anymore. The only reason i have it now is because i went on proactiv (bad idea) and then off it and i had this HUGE acne surge it went from like two zits to a billion so i hope the differin clears it for good. |
