Pros:It worked on my skin, and I actually got compliments on it (which NEVER happens.) I would liken it to a very light chemical peel. It helps with pimples and blackheads.
Cons:If you put too much on, it will burn/irritate your skin and make it very red. It is expensive though and I could only get it through a prescription (so you have to pay a dermatology fee as well, which, for a college student, is hard to afford.)
Bottom Line:If you have the money to invest in it, and follow the directions, go for it.

Pros:it can really clear your face as other medcine may give negative effect
Cons:You will feel your skin dry at the beginning, but it will becomes better after a few weeks you have used.
It may costs you a lot but it really benefits to you in contrast.
Bottom Line:I used this product as I have the treatment from my doctor.
He recomended me to use this product for 3 month.
It really gives my skin dry at the beginning, but my condition becomes better after a few weeks.
It finally clear my face with no ANCE and BLACKHEADS.

Pros:very easy to keep up with, not expensive, doesnt have a finny smell or a smell at all, doesnt burn, doesnt dry my skin.
Cons:it got REALLY bad before it got better, if you use a moisteriser in the morning after you wash your face the redness in your skin decreases.
Bottom Line:i had tryed over the counter things for a while. the neutrtogena acne controll kit controlled my acne, but it didnt clear it up. my mom was bugging me about my skin all the time. my skin was fine in june 2008, but in the end of july i started to get sreious breakouts. she scheduled a doctors appt for me one day, and the doctor put me on some oral meds (tetrecycline) that i have to take twice a day, and Differin. i started using it right away. my skin was so bad that it HURT to wash my face. its been about a 2 weeks and already my face is clearing up! my forehead was my major problem area, and i only have a few blemishes that arnt even very noticable! but the problem now is that my face is red and irritated, but i've found that using a moisterizer in the morning after i wash my face has decreased the redness. BOTTOM LINE is give it a try, and you will definatly be happy with the clear, soft, toned face that you'll have after a while.

Pros:easy to use, doesn't cause any irritation
Cons:don't know if it really works?
Bottom Line:I've been using the product for about 4 months and it seems to have made an improvement in my skin, but after 4 months it's not quite was i was expecting:( I've been using it in conjunction with a clindamycin lotion, but the results are not that great

Pros:results overnight. wayyy clearer skin, great spot treatment.
Cons:dries out skin. use the cetaphil cream over top it at night and its not a problem.
Bottom Line:WORKED AMAZINLY. my acne is almost gone now after just a week. i was using the whole exposed system, but it made acne worse so i switched to a gentle cleanser and differin at night. my acne is almost gone now (: it does dry out your skin, but just put on heavy moisturizer once it dries and you'll be fine.
definently try it.

Pros:Really does work very well on blackheads and acne. No odor. Only use once per day. Non-irritating if you use as directed.
Cons:Expensive. Takes several months to work. Acne can flare up at first. Can be irritating as your face adjusts if you overuse it.
Bottom Line:I've struggled with acne for 15 years. Differin really DOES work if you give it time. It makes blackheads and acne disappear, and it smooths your skin. Since it takes several months to work, and since it can cause an initial flare-up of acne, you will become tempted to give up. Don't! If you push through this adjustment period, the results will be awesome.

I've used Differin twice. The first time I used it a few years ago, I used more than directed because I wanted it to work quickly. This was stupid and the instructions warn you not to do this. My face was so raw and peeling that my eyes teared if I touched my skin. I quit using it after a week or two. This time around I have used it as directed, using a pea sized amount once per day, and the results have been fantastic with very minimal irritation.

Pros:It's easy to use and dry my skin in short time (I have oily skin). My pimple scars are faded very fast.
Cons:My doctor said I must use it only at bed time and I must turn off the light, if not my face will getting darker and darker.
Bottom Line:I love it. It's better than Proactiv repairing lotion. For me, I think adapalene (differin gel) is better than Benzoyl peroxide.

Pros:It has cleared my skin,
Cons:Acne got worst on the first 3 weeks. My skin is very dry and is peeling off..also my sensibility has increased a lot.
Bottom Line:I think it works, but you have to know that you'll have to keep the treatment for at least 2 months to see any result...i guess it all depends on your skin.....
