Cons smellls awful, weird consistency, you cant buy it everywhere
Bottom line I put a dab on a pimple when i see it, till its gone - usually dried up in 2 days max - ive never used anything like it! its easy to find at places like walmart. i have even used it on my boyfriends back.

Pros Been dealing with horrible acne issues for years and years and this is the only stuff that not only dries up pimples ASAP, but it has prevented my usual breakouts. I love this stuff.
Cons The only thing that's a little cumbersome is the consistency. It's not that bad....I leave it on all day under makeup and it feels slightly masky, but not cakey. I find that if I put lotion on over top after it dries its not as bad.
Bottom line I've tried everything (over and behind the counter) and this is the only thing that works.

For 10.99 what's not to love?

Pros This is the best adult acne porduct I've used. I have spent about $800.00 at a local skin care center to get my acne to clear, with little results. I've used this for the past 4 days and my skin is almost clear. It cost $10.99 at rite-aid!
Cons NONE!!!!!
Bottom line I wish I knew this before I spent so much money trying other products!

Pros Works better anything I have been using it for 20+ years.
Cons Very hard to find! Why are the best products always discontinued or hard find?
Bottom line I wish it was more readily available.

Cons It can be drying at times so it's really important to use a good moistourizer.
Bottom line I have used saliclyic acid and benzol peroxide, only to find that it dries my skin and makes it flake but acnomel has been AMAZING. The first day I used it, I could see an improvement (it wasn't drastic, but it was there). If you have sensitive skin, this is a great product..doesn't sting or burn.

Cons I had a severe allergic reaction to acnomel 24-hrs after using this product as an overnight spot treatment. I have large, red, itchy patches on my face that resemble poison ivy breakouts, so this did not help acne at all.
Bottom line Bad product, not for use on sensitive skin.

Pros It works quickly and does not stain fabric like benzoyl peroxide does and works MUCH better!
Cons Can be drying and is hard to find
Bottom line I have been on everything for acne, even Accutane.. (which did work, but is not safe and when you go off of it, your skin tends to go back to its old ways) This is the only affordable and safe option and I have tried everything and anything.. This is great for people whose skin does not respond well to salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide creams... It does not necessarily prevent breakouts, but does treat them quickly!

Pros It is great and cheap.
Cons None--just lucky to have found it.
Bottom line I am 45 and had adult acne and rosacea for about 10 years--I have tried everything--all the expensive MD stuff. I found this by accident--and it is the best thing I've ever used. My 19 year old uses it for her (pretty bad) acne and also loves it. Plus its cheap!!!!!!!!!!!
